Cramped, small shower stall

The staff where friendly enough and the location was good. The room was clean and the shower was always hot.

The air conditioning was noisy so turned it off half way through the night only to find it was drowning out the rest of the noise e.g slamming doors and general street noise. I thought the room was good value for the price as it describes it as a suite with kitchen area, when I discovered that a room becomes a suite by putting a chair in it I was very disappointed. Also the supposed kitchen turned out to be a stainless steel cupboard with a microwave and a fridge in it. Whilst checking in several people were complaining about there rooms so I can only assume the rest of the hotel is the same. Also the hallway to my room smelt damp and you could see this all the way up the stairs. I would strongly suggest anyone wanting to stay in this area of London look at the corus just up the road from this hotel the suites and rooms are far superior, it's no where near as expensive and the whole experience was better and more enjoyable. I would not stay at great western again.

The location and cost were great. The room was lovely and very comfortable.

There was no information in the room about how to use anything I.e operate the lights, the wired internet connection, no information about check out or anything

Beautiful large room, with a beautiful bathroom. The staff was kind.

When we arrived the staff gave us a very small room even if we paid for the largest one, so they moved us next day in another larger room.

Good location, close to Notting Hill and main transport links. Suites were reasonable size and bed was very comfortable. No complaints.

Would avoid using their recommended taxi firm as they we extortionate!

Clean and comfortable rooms with modern decor! Lovely bed and lots of spacein the suite! Ideally placed near paddington station so easy to get around! Would definitely stay again!

Staff were lovelt but not always smiling and didnt always seem to happy!

The advertisement said the room was a large luxury suit. The room and bed was tiny and a standard double room in a standard hotel is bigger

Great, "neighborhood" feel with cafes, shoppes and public transport at our fingertips. Charming room with suprising modern features in the bath, including great lighting in shower and overhead "rain" shower head which was unexpected. The room was cleaned well and quickly each morning which was much appreciated.

We had difficulty locating the restaurant within the hotel and the staff appeared at one point to either not know how to tell us to get to the restaurant, or, did not know they were sending us to the wrong entrance-- frustrating a bit after a very long flight. Hotel did offer a business centre of sorts, in the lobby, yet it was challenging to access the one computer as it was in frequent use--had to request someone to get off the computer so we could print boarding passes. As with most European hotels everything seems a bit crowded yet the hotel did well to offer a fridge/tea tray with cutlery and a few ammenities in the room.

Staff were pretty good but the best thing was the breakfast.

I was in a club double room and it was tiny. The aircon was also very dated. The bathroom was boiling hot due to the lights by the sink, not very well considered when designing the room.

Ideally situated, nice area, and good accomodation, although room not as big as picture might suggest
