Hotel was clean and central, bathroom was nice.

To call it a suite is cheeky, I could reach the kitchen from my bed, it was very cramped

First of all, I booked for Best Western but the reception took me 100 mt. Away hotel nearby. It was very very very dirty bed. Old customers hair was all around the bed. I informed reception and they gave me another room. It was worse. At 01.00 in the morning, after 2 hours talking and seeing people hairs on different beds ( and hearing the staff saying that hotel management have problem with the cleaning company!!!! ), I took my case and go to Best Western back. Best Western gave me a room which was a match box. I refused, then they offer me another room which was okey. But, I realized that the room was very cold, after I took a shower. Went to sleep, and wake up around 06.00, freezing!!! Went to the reception in the morning before I go to my meetings, and inform them about the heating. They said, they will look at it and most probably, 'I did not open the heating!!!' When I came after a long working day around 19.30 to my room, It was again freezing cold!!! I went to the reception and inform them. They told me to open the electric heater!!! Which modernd world stop using years ago. I refused to use that. Then, they gave me a very nice room at the second floor. It was the room wcich I booked originally... There was no internet in the room, which you were promoting that there was!!!! I informed the hotel management about what happened, and gave authority to one of my friend to follow the case!!!

Several times they did not ofer the room I have book!

Clean and comfortable rooms with modern decor! Lovely bed and lots of spacein the suite! Ideally placed near paddington station so easy to get around! Would definitely stay again!

Staff were lovelt but not always smiling and didnt always seem to happy!

Friendly helpful staff,good breakfast.

The Manager at this location who I met personally on 22nd November was very helpful, as were other staff. For that particular reason I will be returning to this hotel. Thank you for an enjoyable stay. Kind regards John Hoare

I will never live this hotel again

Signal is very bad and internet is too slow.

First of all comfortable, clean and smiling.

The hotel is very nice and clean, would definately recommend the hotel.

I think the room (executive suite) was advertised inappropriately, although the room we had was very nice it was a lot smaller than advertised. Although a weekend away would be ok, it was too small to spend much more time there.

Ideally situated, nice area, and good accomodation, although room not as big as picture might suggest

I booked a suite and was told on arrival that there was none available. I was then given a tiny room with just a shower..having told the staff that I was on a very busy job and only had 45 minutes to have a bath before the evening events took place. After complaining, they gave me a bath. I was very dissappointed that they did not automatically give me the next best room after refusing the suite. I was offered a measly £20 compensation. I was not told before I arrived even thought they had my mobile and the whole thing felt very shoddy.

The staff where friendly enough and the location was good. The room was clean and the shower was always hot.

The air conditioning was noisy so turned it off half way through the night only to find it was drowning out the rest of the noise e.g slamming doors and general street noise. I thought the room was good value for the price as it describes it as a suite with kitchen area, when I discovered that a room becomes a suite by putting a chair in it I was very disappointed. Also the supposed kitchen turned out to be a stainless steel cupboard with a microwave and a fridge in it. Whilst checking in several people were complaining about there rooms so I can only assume the rest of the hotel is the same. Also the hallway to my room smelt damp and you could see this all the way up the stairs. I would strongly suggest anyone wanting to stay in this area of London look at the corus just up the road from this hotel the suites and rooms are far superior, it's no where near as expensive and the whole experience was better and more enjoyable. I would not stay at great western again.

Wir hatten ein Super schönes Zimmer für zwei Nächte, mit einer kleinen Küchenzeile. Hotelausstattung ist super modern und für den Preis der Zimmer top! Sauberkeit der Zimmer war ok. Für Londoner Verhältnisse war das Zimmer sehr ruhig, normaler Straßenlärm in einer Grossstadt. Badezimmer sehr modern ausgestattet mit Regenduschen und Blaulicht super!

Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind leider unterstes Niveau, kein Lächeln zur Begrüßung, während des Check-In's wurde lautstark mit den Kollegen geplaudert. Leider auch nicht alle Mitarbeiter mit akzentfreien Englisch, schwierig als Tourist da noch mit zukommen. Zum Schluss sollten wir noch eine " ehrliche Hotelbewertung" im Beisein eines Mitarbeiters in einem Internetportal abgeben, welches erst durch mehrmaliges widersprechen dann doch nicht gemacht wurde.
