The staff really are what makes this place so good. They are friendly, professional, and really seem to enjoy what they do. This really does translate into the excellent service they provide.

Facilities, cleanliness, polite and helpful staff. We were pleased to be offered the Valentine meal on the Saturday evening but very disappointed that at no stage, either when booking or checking in were we offered the £99 deal which meant we were paying decididly more than most other guests for an identical stay.

Nice staff, clean modern and comfortable rooms and a good leisure club. The restaurant has a very limited menu, all the food is quite plain and simple and not particularly in keeping with the rest of the hotel which has a good leisure club and golf course. The bar menu is even worse and the bar staff are elusive so getting a drink can be difficult. There are only a few restaurants within a short drive, mainly pub grub, so dont go to this hotel to entertain or for the culinary experience. Other than this the hotel is very good.

My daughter and I had a quiet ensuite twin-bedded room on the top floor overlooking attractive grounds at the rear of the hotel. The room had a number of extras, was a good size and we found the beds comfortable. The hotel has a lift which was always available during our stay. The changing rooms and pool area were clean and spacious and the gym was well equipped. All the staff were friendly and most helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Erg aardig personeel. Erg jammer.

The Greyhound Coaching Inn and Hotel
This traditional 18th-century coaching inn has been run by father and daughter for 20 years. With superb cuisine and Grade II heritage-listed status it is very individual, unlike a branded hotel.
