Welcoming reception, quiet location, spacious, nice gardens with convenient parking, room well decorated and comfortable, well lit (full marks for having normal lightbulbs not CFs) good sports centre facilities, restaurant opened at 5.30 at the weekend - handy if you have a date in town. No spare blanket or cover in the room, not so good if you're the "cool room, warm bed" kind of person. Breakfast ingredients all poor quality and rather obviously cheapest ranges, No natural yoghurt, only sweetened.Location is actually not in Dundee but rather in Monifieth. Handy for golf , less for Dundee city, but an easy drive in to town. |

The room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed the evening meal and was very good value for money and well presented. the waiting staff were efficient. It was nice to be in a city location but it still felt secluded and off thebeaten track |

Room was well equipped and comfortable with good modern TV. Bathroom spacious, clean and very well lit. Beds very comfortable. Spa was clean and well equipped. Good value for money through this web site. £16 dinner menu good value. Thought the staff were poorly trained in restaurant both for dinner and breakfast. Friendly enough but didn't clear dirty plates / glasses so table quickly became cluttered |

Totally satisfactory for our needs and we were made very welcome. All the staff were extremely helpful. A very relaxing few days. Directions could be improved upon, perhaps. |

Excellent hotel - in very attractive grounds in a quiet location away from main roads. Good facilities and very nice bar / restaurant. Would strongly recommend for a business or leisure stay. |

We were allocated a room in the same corridor as drunken wedding guests and as a result we had a very disturbed nights sleep due to a young couple in the adjacent room arguing for hours. The girl was thrown out of her room by her boyfriend and was crying and pleading for hours to be let in. Eventually another young couple located in the room next door let her in to their room where she continued to cry hysterically for the next few hours. Although the night porter was aware of the situation no action was taken to permit other guests to get some sleep. |

The staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel was attractively decorated and the room was extremely comfortable. As I was visiting family I did not make use of any of the available facilities but these seemed to be of a good standard. |

The meal at night was lovely. We have stayed before and last time we had a lovely big room but this time we were disappointed as we had a much smaller room. Room was also very hot and shower tempermental. |

The rooms were very comfortable and although we were almost next door to the function suite we heard very little of the wedding reception that was going on in the hotel - breakfast was very good Although the heating was not on in our room it was still extremely hot - thank goodness for the fan that was already in the room. |

We had bad luck because there was a Wedding party at the hotel the very same evening and consequently it was noisy until 02:30 am. which meant not possibly to sleep. |

Areas and items that could be cleaned were spotless. One of the cleanest bathrooms I have experienced with well a appointed comfortable room. Friendly staff with good service. Peaceful, quiet location. Good breakfast. Welcoming and friendly staff in all areas gave prompt attention and good service. Commended. Poor menu choice, I chose fish and chips with bullet hard (inedible) peas. The huge fish was very good but this and the chips were frozen. No AC for hot weather. No way to turn off the bathroom towel rail. Squeaky floor boards may disturb other guests. |
