Best Western Woodlands Hotel  

The use of the poo, the food was excellent and the room was very nice

Feel the mattress was rather hard and the pillows not very comfortable

We were there for wedding which was very well organised by hotel. Some parts of hotel ageing but overall - great. Staff very helpful.

We were very surprised when we pulled-in; it's located in the middle of a residential area, but you would never know it once inside. Very nice welcome & were given a four poster room as requested. All staff said hello/ good morning etc when we passed them. Facilities were extremely good, we used the gym, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steamroom & made a booking for a full body massage, all were excellent & staff were great & very helpful. Breakfast was also very good, staff friendly & efficient & there was plenty to choose from. Over all, a great stay; we would recommend this hotel to anyone & would certainly return!

The restaurant menu could use some up-dating & we found the choice a little limited. It could maybe benefit from using a few different menus, perhaps a bar one with fish & chips/ fajitas & things, then the restaurant one with more choice of meat & fish dishes & perhaps a snack/ light bites one as well? We ate in the restaurant for dinner one of the nights we stayed & the bar the second, which was no problen for the staff to accommodate. The food itself was lovely, the presentation was just a little old fashioned & not as much menu choice or the same style as we are used to in a restaurant.

The dinner menu was superb as was the meal. The staff attitude and presentation throughout the hotel from the guy who was cleaning the rooms to the room service guys and the receptionist, all were friendly and accomodating.

Breakfast the first morning...it was shoved on the plate and wouldn't have looked out of place at a greasy spoon cafe. Overcooked sausages, grease filled black pudding and not nice scrambled eggs. I had it in my room and the room service breakfast choices were limited with no opportunity to say how you wanted your eggs or to choose which elements of breakfast you wanted. 2nd morning was better as I had cut down on the elements I wanted but they then forgot the wheatabix..the milk for it was there! but no wee wheat parcels... Compared to the dinner menu and its presentation...chalk and cheese

The hotel was exellent very clean very luxorious the staff were exelent and very helpful and could not do enough for us the food was lovley I would recommend them to any one thank you for a very pleasent stay you made our buissnes trip very relaxed and very pleasent

We had a comfortable stay and a lovely family meal

It was suitable for the purpose of having a Golden Wedding Celebration meal. Facilities were very good and the catering excellent. The staff were pleasant and helpful, especially, Mrs Jenny Young, the events organiser. We actually had a block booking of 5 rooms which were all taken up and everyone seemed satisfied and happy with their accommodation.

Our second stay at this hotel and we will use it again on our next trip to Dundee.The staff wereexcellent,always polite and friendly and the food was very good and prices in the restaurant and bar were reasonable.Parking is good and the location is very good for visiting Dundee city centre and surrounding countryside.
