Formerly an 18th century coaching inn, The Royal Oak Hotel is situated in the historic market town of Leominster, at the heart of the scenic border countryside.

Tally Ho is a 14th-century inn with comfy rooms in Tenbury Wells, about 15 miles (24 km) from Worcester. There is a pub, lounge and a restaurant serving home-cooked food.

This 16th-century inn is in the beautiful Wye Valley, in the cider orchards between Hereford and Hay-on-Wye. It has free on-site parking, free Wi-Fi, a traditional bar and a modern restaurant.

We liked everything. The food was delicious and the staff exceptionally kind so will definitely be returning.
A stunningly historic property.
right in the middle of town, have kept many of the old heritage features
When I arrived the manager was on his phone texting and refused to acknowledge I was there.... room was poor(room 24) - no wifi, bath option was very poor.... TV was from the 1980's pushed two single beds together and could you feel the difference in the two surfaces....
Friendly, clean and convenient.
Very charming inside, some would consider outdated but I think has masses of character and is extremely comfortable, shame about outside noise.
Noise outside at night, bar opposite with shouting and fighting until 2am, hardly slept and unable to close old sash window properly - room 3 Huge TV with only one working channel - room 25
Great location. Friendly staff. Superb breakfast.
This is no longer a Best Weston hotel, so the booking.com website misled me when making this booking. Outside the hotel gets very loud on a Saturday night due to "revellers".
Mass brawl outside at 2am.
It's a beautiful historic building
The room was cramped by the bed. There was no instruction manual for guests. The "desk" was actually a table. The TV didn't work.
See above.... It's unwelcoming to see so much rubbish/old vehicles in the car park then tables of drunken smokers congregating outside the hotel entrance. Room also suffered traffic noise/ noise from late night trvellerd
Breakfast first morning very good.
Breakfast the second morning, only fair, mushrooms far too salty and bacon too tough.
sleepless night due to screaming and shouting outside until three or four in the morning, no secondry glazing. room was very shabby and old fashioned. all there was separating room from bathroom was a curtain, no door. so there was no privacy when using the toilet. disgusting. was told by staff member noise issue was the same most weekends. terrible accommodation for £87.50 not including breakfast. will never stay at best western hotel again.
HOTEL WAS FINE..CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE LOVELY BREAKFAST..PLEASANT STAFF.
ROOM 16 IS OVER A VERY NOISY CARPARK ..FROM PEOPLE LEAVING LATE AT NIGHT AND AGAIN IN MORNING
I suffer with MS, twin room was downstairs easy access. Shops were on the doorstep no problem. Enjoyable three days, will go again.
The only fault we found was petty and that was the electric kettle, you had to hold it to boil.
Car park always full with cars from that were not guests, making it difficult to find a place to park. The hotel decor is tired and needs some improvements.
Breakfast Staff Bed
Isolated position of family room Cobwebs in the twin room Shower head in double room Lack of sound proofing from outside, drunken behaviour and smashing bottles outside family room. We weren't informed at time of booking that there was a wedding reception so loud music was unacceptable. If we had been informed we would not have chosen this hotel. Two breakfasts were forgotten and had to be reordered and no apology offered.
I grew up in Leominster between 1956 and 1963. So it had a lot of memories for my.
The overflowing garbage bins in the parking lot. Which were worse in the morning. Some animal had dragged a large piece of rotten meat (one foot long) and it was lying in the parking lot behind my vehicle. Definately a lack of cleanliness all around. Many of the hallway carpets were grubby looking and needed replacing
Breakfast & morning staff.
Small bar surrounded by unwashed contractors in dirty work clothes. (Contractor myself) Restaurant menu. Noise and bad language from the kitchen.
The location is good
Very poor value for money and the fried breakfast should have been called a dried breakfast. Curtains had no dark backing so woken early by the sun.
Location great Staff warm & friendly Historical side of building fabulous very clean and comfortable bedroom nothing too much trouble
The hotel is dated and needing refurbishment. The building is listed so double glazing isnt an option. However the noise from the bar onto the street is horrendous. Echoes throughout the hotel, glass smashing and men yelling is not a good way to rest. The breakfast is basic but decent choice, however for the amount paid for staying the breakfast truly didn't reflect the price. We were checking the hotel out for business needs and if it wasnt so noisy we would return, as it is we will be staying in Ludlow next time
Staff, location, breakfast
Location to the venue I was visiting
V old decor
Expensive for what you get.
location right in the centre of a quiet market town,
Restaurant menu rather expensive and unimaginative.
On arrival very pleasant lady on reception. Bedroom fine
Entrance shabby particularly carpet - overall area surrounding reception dark & drab. Didn't see much of remainder of hotel as our room was out the front door with separate entrance.Based on what we saw decided not to check out dining facilities & chose to eat dinner & breakfast out.Would not stay there again - considered it expensive for what it was.
