Good location, cheap parking offered, big en suite, clean room and good sizes room and bathroom, good tv, wifi reliable.
Hotel feels generally dated. Needs modernisation as next time I would use a more modern hotel as the price difference was not that big.
The staff was unfriendly!
Male reception staff a bit remote
The staff were friendly and helpful and it was clean. Good location.
The whole place was tired and badly in need of complete refurbishment. The whole fabric of the hotel was not up to the standards one expects from a Best Western. Breakfast was good but expensive.
Clean room and I had a sea view. Staff were friendly when I needed taxis. Was able to change my booking easily.
There is a pub across the road which is noisy on Friday nights.
The friendly, helpful staffx
Bathroom needs updating
excellent location and parking facilities in front of hotel, great breakfast, nice terrace, walking distance from centre, free wifi (but a bit slow)
a bit outdated
The hotel was an old building and was authentic and had character. Our room was on the fourth floor and so lots of opportunity to walk up stairs for exercise if you did not want to use the lift.
Nothing really, we were there for two days, and ate out.
I entered my bathroom to be met with a cockroach in the sink -
Right on the sea front, with original features, and a certain traditional style and charm.
It was a little bit dated and tired in places.
Very poor shower and dated room decor, poor choice of drinks and dated meal choice. Poorly trained staff and lack of attention to detail.
Kamers en locatie prijs ok
Het eten was ongehoord slecht
a bath, good sized room, situation as in views
the noisy restaurant over the road, a shocker, plus a drunk patron coined our rental car bonnet, and possibly others facing the sea...
The location is wonderful, lots of the rooms have gorgeous sea views. The hotel has some lovely original features and has a nice cosy feel. It has character!
Some things could do with modernising especially the showers which were poor. Breakfast was a bit expensive.
Good single rooms with adequate facillities . Decent breakfast with pleasant service
Very small lift
Loved the location, the room was nice and airy and well furnished. Next visit we will eat in the restaurant - recommended by several fellow guests.
There was a lot of confusion over car parking facilities with conflicting instructions by Reception!
Nice clean older hotel. Not a Corporate likeness, but a traditional hotel, oozing with character.couldn't believe some negative comments regarding tight corridors and small lift! BIG DEAL! Would stay again. :))
Had the set menu dinner, only because family had arranged. Not great.:( . But rarely eat in Any hotel restaurants, because can always be hit and miss.
The location .The food and choice at dinner.
The toilet flush system. The system did not fill up sufficiently to flush! We had to lift up the system lid push down the ball cock to allow enough water to fill up most times before it would flush!
