Best Western Manor Hotel  

Room was clean.

Staff not very friendly cold attitude, no heating in the room or air conditioning, bar prices very bad probable the most I have every paid for a glass of cider ever.

The receptionist was pleasant and friendly. The hotel was conveniently situated for where I wanted to be.

When we woke in the morning there was no hot water in the shower of our room. Staff came to check, and were unable to make the hot water come from the shower. After a long wait, as time was running out for us to check out, I had a bath but was unable to wash my hair. I felt very uncomfortable leaving the hotel, and for the rest of the day, as I had not been able to wash my hair since the night before. I requested a reduction in the bill, and was told by the receptionist that she could not do that, but that I should make a complaint and request a refund. She took my details.

Leaving

There was a party at the hotel on the night we stayed. I understand that silence is impossible and am not unreasonable, but with people running around the corridors into the early hours shouting - I would have thought the staff may have tried to consider those who werent part of the party. The room we stayed in had no air con, and was right above the industrial and noisy air con units outside. So we could either be too hot with the windows closed (and not sleep) or have the windows open (and not sleep because of the noise! I was not impressed especially since we paid just shy of £70.00 and I had a business meeting the following morning. Actually just disgusted that the staff didnt speak to drunks running around the corridors. Complete lack of respect for those like myself who needed a good nights sleep. I will not stay here again, and will encourage others not to should they suggest it!!!

Clean, good parking, location near Ebbsfleet International. Good size room, even if slightly dated.Receptionist very cheerful and helpful.

Not being told there was no restauarant on Friday night. So called full menu at bar I.E. Pizza, Sausage and Mash, Burgers etc. very disappointing. Bar staff poorly or not trained at all. Wine slopped on table while being poured and having to ask for splashes to be wiped. .

Had a good ladies festival there.good service reasonable bar prices ,pleasent staff,exceeded my expectations

Food was good and good value. Nice bar area. Room was decent size. Good shower and bath.

Whole place bit outdated. Bed a little uncomfortable.

Food was excellent, especially evening meal - compliments to the chef. Date was Satyurday 16th July 2011.

I have often stayed here as it not too far from Gatwick and am often flying into or out of the uk. Best Western Hotels can be a bit hit or miss, but I have to say that this one is a hit!

If only it had a nice pool and sauna, would be perfect!
