Fantastic situation for restaurants and shopping. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere,comfortable bedroom and good breakfast.

The key card wasnt reliable and sometimes would not unlock the doors.

Position in the Clifton area. Walkable to town and main sights. Pleasant staff.

TV hard to get working. Very noisy when next room using bathroom.

breakfast was disapointing. Come down at 08.40 (closed at 09.00) The cooked food was dried up and jam pots were almost empty. Didn't expect that from that hotel

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. A very good breakfast. Very good base for exploring Clifton and the city of Bristol without driving.

bathroom was rather small.

Room 206 was spacious and modern, decor nice and light .. Bed very comfortable. Plenty of tea and coffee.

Found toilet very difficult to flush.

Very good location in Clifton. Breakfast good and staff friendly. We have previously stayed in this hotel in a far superior room for the same price.

Noisy room underneath the kitchen. We were woken up early by overhead movement in the kitchen and disturbed by kitchen fan outside window. Window looked out on 5 foot wall. Very disappointing!

Good price for a basic room which was really comfortable and spotless. Position was central for our visit.

Left 2 items behind and have been unable to get through on their number since to try to retrieve them!

The room was great - clean with a huge opening window for fresh air which was a joy. Good value.

The stairs with a heavy suitcase and no lift were very awkward. Hard self service eggs for breakfast and very ordinary sliced bread. Freshly cooked eggs would be much nicer and bread to cut as needed with some quality.

The location to Clinton Village... Wonder quaint area really nice

In the room we had 227 you could hear people upstairs walking around quite loudly and the room was a bit cold.

Easy access to Clifton and Bristol

Staying on 3rd floor as final climb was akin to the north face of the Eiger

Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.

The wooden floor (lack of carpet) in the family room we stayed in.

Location was spot on, two minute walk throu the park then your in the town.The town reminds me of Notting Hill.Quaint shops and great places to eat and drink. Hotel is well sign posted and easy to find. Room was on the compact side but clean and comfortable. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would stay there again but would opt out of the breakfast.

The breakfast reminded me of staying in backpackers hostel in the centre of London back in the eighties.The jam/marmalade were in large sealed containers.Basic bread, and cooked breakfast was bland,with the beans tasting rather sweet.The fruit was tinned peaches and prunes.The choice was good but the quality was basic.

The Hotel is an attractive building in a lovely wooded square. The staff are great, especially the (Polish?) reception staff. Bristol is a great city with strongly contrasting areas within walking distance. It looks incredible and the dock area has been turned into a lesiure area sympathetically, with many of the original structures and uses left intact. Very friendly people.

Good base for exploring central Bristol. Friendly helpful staff. Quiet, comfortable room Very useful to be able to park easily. We have stayed here on more than one occasion and would do so again.

Breakfast was OK but a bit frenetic! Decaff tea would be good.

loved the location - you could get to anywhere from there! The bus stop is right outside the door.....
