Excellent location for purpose. Quiet, good sized rooms. Free parking. Surprisingly good breakfast. Free wi-fi. Nice staff. Smelly bathroom drain that did not get properly fixed during our stay. Matress seemed to have some age on it. |

The room (Premier) was large. There was a large built in desk which was convenient for working. the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious if slightly dated. very easy to find. Shower took a considerable time to warm up. Was a Saturday night. A large wedding party was taking place No noise from Wedding per se - but wedding guests returning to rooms at 2-3 pm were loud enough to wake my wife (but not me) |

Lack of choice with A La Carte menu due to imminent change, dining room staff, although pleasant & helpful, had no knowledge of wine or how to serve it. FIxed showerhead in bathroom very high - difficult to rinse. Double-glazing seals shot, so windows cloudy and condensated. Wasted space in bedroom shouldhave accommodated additional seating |

It was conveniently placed for a meeting of the golf society that I belong to. At breakfast you catered for my diabetic needs. The bed was too hard. The dinner menu was not diverse enough and I struggled to make a suitable selection! |

Helpful staff at front desk. Convenient location. Crisp white linen. Swimming pool closed but not told before arriving. Dirty carpet as had obviously not pulled out beds to clean between beds and bedside tables |

It was the same venue as the wedding we attended, was easy to find and handy for the City centre. We stayed 2 nights & didn't get our room serviced! we were offered towels around tea time on the 2nd night we were there! The bathroom needed refurbishing. Shower head was noisy and poor. Extractor van worked for the first hour only. The Bar Manageress was one of the rudest people I have ever met to her co-workers. |

Very friendly and helpful junior staff. Room very well cleaned, and although fairly basic, comfortable, with good selection of tv channels and Wireless Internet availability. Standard of meals was very inconsistent. We had several very good meals but three in particular were less than satisfactory, and our comments were not weel received by the hotel management. |

Staff were really helpful. It was not clean [we had to change rooms because of flaking plaster], and the booking was not efficient. Only the price compensated for about six fairly important defects we listed. |

Good location and car parking. Basic but clean room Poor standard of service at breakfast with dirty tables and milk jugs passed on from one customer to the next. |

It was in a virtually perfect location for my visit a short walking distance away. I was disappointed that the fitness suite was not availible but I was aware of that before arrived. There are however no plans to restore it I was told. |

The hotel was well sited close to our destinations. The staff were friendly and helpful. Like most hotels in uk the room needed just that finishing touch. The carpet was not quite clean. The decor was not quite right. The heater was hanging off the wall and made a vibrating sound when it clicked in. But most of all the pillows were rock hard. Then at 10.00 am on Sunday all hell broke loose as the workmen started renovating the room above. |

Bar Staff friendly Comfort of bed - poor. Bathroom facilities very poor - Carpets stuck to my shoes - needs to be renovated. Was looking forward to using spa facilities - these were closed for refurbishment. Had to wait an hour for food when it eventually arrived it was cold dry and quite frankly was not worth the money. We were not charged for the meal but after travelling a long way we left to find alternative |
