Warm comfortable easily accessible and charming host. Use every Christmas to do the family Santa drop!
Very friendly staff and great service. The rooms were beautiful.
There is a busy road and train tracks very close to the hotel. This might be a problem for someone with a light sleep.
The breakfast was fantastic.
Beautiful, very well kept home, felt I was visiting a friend, not staying in a B&B
Nothing, perfectly perfect
Bed was very comfortable Breakfast was delicious and more than enough Decor was beautiful
Shower issues, both barely managed a 30 second shower each before being burnt or frozen
I like the breakfast n the set up. Also like the bed.
Friendly host,very clean,free parking,good breakfast,value for money,5 mins by car to Ferries.
nothing worth mentioning
good internet use Can walk from here into town, but cabs are reasonably priced too
Our room was next to pressure pipes which meant that when anyone used hot water - you heard it! terribly disruptive especially if people showered at 6:30am and you wanted to sleep. It was so noisey and really had a negative affect on our stay. The room was also very small and dark - I would not have advertised this as a double room. There was absolutely no room to move in the shower room - when sat on the loo you basically had your face in the basin and you had to manouvere your body to get into the shower - and if you wanted to dry yourself in that room - no chance! Also, owner seemed slightly confused when we stated we were vegetarian...not veggie sausages. when I suggested egg and beans they said they don't do beans...baked beans are not the most expensive thing to provide at breakfast...also the bread was clearly economy and cardboard like. If I had the courage to ask for some refund for our room because of the disruptive noise - I would have. Avoid room 8
Beautiful home, nice breakfast, very personable host.
Facility was a bit tired and in need of some TLC .Doors difficult to open, dampness in ceiling in bedroom. Shower not good
The staff was really nice. The rooms were cute with the classy old-fashion decoration. The beds were comfortable and well heated. The bathroom was clean and nice.
The water of the shower was hot only for one person, and very cold for another person wanting to ahve a shower.
EVERYTHING The lovely greeting from Denis, the charming & elegantly decorated rooms, the cleanliness of the property and the delicious breakfasts.
Could NOT fault a thing
Very nice place to explore the Dover area. Great breakfast.
Good location on bus route to town. Main road out of town to rest of Kent in easy access. Near rugby club. Fabulous house, tastefully kitted out with eclectic but quality decor, furnishings and accessories. Stairs accessible to most. Breakfast wholesome and neither greasy nor 'over-facing'! Really enjoyed the stay.
Didn't spot a local shop for any last minute provisions.
host, entourage, everything
only the polyester bedcover, i don't sleep well under these
Thanks for a great stay, everyone was fantastic. We are very appreciative that you catered to my partners need for gluten free breakfast. Best place we have stayed in a LONG a time
A very nice restored home. A nice place to stay for exploring the Dover area. Good breakfast.
Excellent facility, very clean and comfortable, large room and ensuite. Walking distance to a great little British pub and Kearsney railway station.
Nothing comes to mind
The room was large, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. The breakfast was excellent. Our bathroom was private and large (though not ensuite). The owner and staff were very nice and helpful.
We couldn't both use the wifi at the same time. The location was difficult to find but handy for going on to Canterbury.
Beautiful Georgian house. Only 20 mins to Canterbury - 5 mins to White Cliffs of Dover walk.
Breakfast very early 7.30 - 8.30. Showers very noisy
Location, staff very nice, decor good, excellent breakfast.
* The room * The house * The breakfast * The owner was nice and helpful
* Location, a bit far from the town centre * Too close to railway line although it was not disturbing at night * Some better tips in terms of restaurants in the area
a long way out of the town centre. had to drive or take a long walk for meal. traffic & train noise.
we were at back of house so quiet. Our friends weren't so lucky and the road was quite noisy.
The ensuite was extremely small and slightly awkward. It was the only place we have ever stayed where we were asked to pay as we arrived and had to decide whether or not we wanted a cooked breakfast next day as we paid!
Very clean, good night sleep and a great breakfast
