Good location for people getting the Calais ferry. Rooms are big with TV etc. Beds were very comfortable. On owners recommendation we ate in a pub about 10 minute walk away. Good recommendation!
Shower/Bathroom needs a facelift. Very outdated and worn out.

The room was large and it was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable.
The shower was difficult to operate and hard to judge the temperature. Cooked Breakfast was maybe not quite just enough. It was very noisy (passing trains water pump from adjoining rooms). Perhaps overly priced.
House beautifully furnished and presented.
Noise of fan in bathroom.Having to leave heavy cases downstairs because room up four flights of stairs.
nice large and clean room, friendly staff, private parking
noise of the hot water pump, surrounding area within walking distance lacks nice pubs (car necessary)
Location to ferries. Good powerful.
Noisey plumbing intermittently through the night kept us wake. Room far too hot. We had to leave before 7am so were not offered any sort of breakfast even though we paid for it. Not offered a reduction because of this.
Close to the ferry and though on a main road mainly quiet. Good breakfast.
Bedroom was on the top floor so a bit of a climb. Room was small so bed was against a wall making it more difficult with two occupants.
Great welcome, safe parking on site, quality breakfast, own key to get in, Beautifully presented period house.
Nothing worth mentioning
The staff and Anita were very friendly and helpful. The place is a very nice, quiet and comfortable place. Ambience is very homely.
very small, though extremely clean bathrooms
Very comfortable and clean.
Too far from town if travelling on foot
Comfortable room clean room. Breakfast was good.
Shower room small. need more than one chair in double room.
attentive staff, clean facilities

Decided to stay again on our way back from France. A different room again beautifully furnished. Great breakfast. Short drive from the ferry.
The room 6 bathroom was large and well appointed except for the shower which did not work well at all - unlike our previous experience at Beaulah House.
Needed a comfortable nights sleep before going to France. This was perfect. Beautifully appointed room. Great braekfast. Convenient parking. Reasonable price.
That you had a drenching when hot water only flowed when tap on full.shower difficult to turn on and no water flow unless sink hot tap turned on.flood to floor as shower cubicle unable to be closed first morning.quilts too hot .pillow stained.
noisy main road traffic throughout the night.
room and breakfast were very good
Value for money, needs to improve communication prior to booking and in your room for a lack of guidance on basic services not able to function, in a simple and straighforward way. e.g. No working shower. When we advised of this prior to breakfast we were to told you need to run basin tap to get it to work. No mention in the notes in the room, wasted time to benefit and charged us as if we had a good experience at checkout
The room was comfortable. The breakfast was good. There was a bus to take to Cantebury which was very convenient.
It was too far from restaurants and downtown. Taxis were rare and the hostess did not offer to call one. It is at least 1-2miles to a decent restaurant. Just too inconvenient without a car.
