The Beverley Arms Hotel  

Nothing - It was the worst hotel experience I have ever endured

Hotel was Dirty and run down, Room had peeling wallpaper and mold in the batroom. Damp spots had been painted over. No Internet Service (Which was advertised and confirmed prior to arrival). Hotel was under resourced, and on check out was told that hotel could not accept any credit cards.

Very old and dated rooms. Uncomfy bed, dirty bathroom, poor shower, lifeless hotel

Staff where friendly. Hotel in need of a face lift!

Rooms where shabby, dirty, old, worn. Very basic for the money they charge. Would not stay again and would not recommend it. The only good point was location for what we needed.

Been many times. Good situation in centre of town. Comfortable and friendly. Used by locals for all sorts of occasions. Great atmosphere in historicaly old building.

Breakfast was terrible, service and food were poor. Our room had no water in the morning. Staff were not helpful at all and took over an hour to check my complaint. Once I eventually spoke to a manager and explained that my pregnant wife had to use bottled water for hygiene reasons after using the bathroom all room rates were refunded.

The location of the hotel, and the staff could not have been more polite ,friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a complete let down tired,old rooms and unpleasant bathrooms depressing we were booked for two nights but only stayed the one,I could not face another night in such a depressing room such a shame the outside of the hotel is beautiful and the staff are good the hotel is an embarrassment to them.

This hotel should be closed and refurbised..soon............the food was a disaster..

Excellent location; good ambiance; friendly & helpful staff; good food; totally acceptable wooden bedroom furniture, linen and towels

The hotel is in need of a makeover. There were several carpet stains; some painted surfaces needed redecorating; the settee in our room was grubby, as were the shower curtain and controls;

Despite the reviews on trip advisor, my friends and I were impressed at the value for money and friendliness of the staff. We may well book again. Many thanks

The full english breakfast was not up to scratch but that is the only complaint

Lovely location in the heart of Beverley with easy access to the local sights and shops and restaurants very freindly staff and the breakfast and service was very nice

the room was a bit tired and could do with redecorating although the linen and bedding was very good.

This is not a complaint,just an observation.areas within the hotel look a little tired /this does not in any way detract from the excellent atmosphere /but a facelift would further improve a lovely hotel

The location was ideal for us and near the town centre with adequate car parking

We had to reject the first room we were given as the bed base was heavily water soiled and the chairs were all full of holes.When we complained were were offered and alternative room which was adequate but could have been better. Having said that it is a very old building and must be difficult to keep up to. Breakfast was very good indeed.
