Tiny and old fashioned shower. Room serviced only once in a four night stay over Christmas.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable.
Shower needs replacement and rather cold in bathroom.
Big comfortable bed & location
Room was clean, tidy, didn't look like it had been long from decorated. Staff polite, Late Check out Hours We ate in the pub downstairs on the evening, had lovely food Car parking Facilities great
It was very, very warm in the room, we couldn't turn the radiator down (tried) and the window only opened an inch or so...Although better than being cold I guess Was a little further from the town/city centre than I released around a 25 minute walk.
stayed 31st dec 14 and brochures of cardiff in room were dated june. up to date info would have been better.
poor breakfast. stale croissant
convenient location for the town and the bay ,,
on arrival into our room it was tiny for a double and the shower not big enough to turn round in unless your a stick thin model ,, dried toothpaste in the sink and hairs in the shower. Our bed wasnt made up the second day of our stay and never any staff to be seen ..
Everything,nice staff,child friendly,nice large clean bedrooms,
Nothing bad to say about the place,
Staff, room, bar & restaurant all excellent. Would recommend. Near to the city centre (walking distance, took about 10mins.
We had an issue trying to park. Spent just under an hour driving round. They have parking but rugby was on and locals too up the parking. We ended up parking well away from the hotel. This was the only let down.
Staff helpful and friendly, pub excellent value for money.Good location, 15 minute walk to city centre and 20 mins to Cardiff City football ground.
Rooms were clean and well equipped with all the little extras you need for an overnight stay. Staff were very helpful and polite. Very good rates for rooms. Would recommend this hotel to friends.
Friendly staff Free parking Good, inexpensive pub grub Room ours until midday Straightforward walk into town
Walls a bit thin and we had a snorer next door
cleanliness ability to eat at hotel bar without leaving
Have stayed here for the last six years , its central and parking is secure.
loved the size of the room and the size of the bathroom fantastic atmosphere in the pub and food great value for money the 20% was also great, staff very friendly and helpful and great at promoting there special offers.
Although the bathroom was big the shower pressure was poor and having a shower felt very colstophobic. On pulling back the curtains there was thoick dust on the ledges this was also in the bathroom where there was black mould on the ledges
Only Came to see the football, loved the day and stay at this Hotel. Will be returning.
only staying one night, will be coming back next year to visit Cardiff at Christmas
Clean rooms, location within 15 mins walk of Cardiff Castle and centre. And a bus or taxi ride from the Quay, Cardiff is certainly a buzzing place these days, with so many good cafes and restaurants.
We weren't even offered a cooked breakfast on the first night and assumed, wrongly, it wasn't on offer. It was indeed available but at extra cost as our £64 per night didn't cover it. On day two a cooked breakfast was cheap, but tasteless. Also, room 2 is worth avoiding as its windows are above the kitchen automatic fan, which means a 6 am wake up call!
Staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were spotless. Fantastic first experience, would definitely stay again. Highly recommended
Second time we have used Inn Keepers Lodge for a shopping trip, and like the first time.............faultless!!!
For our purposes which was shopping it was too far out of the shopping area . Normally it would not be an issue but one daughter has a bad back and the other is pregnant so it meant getting taxis into town for shopping there and back and taxis again for evening meals taxi prices ranged from £5.00 to £14.00. So added to cost would prefer to spend taxi money on a hotel closer to the town centre. Staff at the hotel were very nice have no complaints about the hotel at all and if it was just me and my husband the 15 min walk to shops and restaurants would not have been an issue.
Already detailed above
Clean comfortable room perfectly adequate for our one night stay. Food in the bar very good value & tasty.Look forward to returning for 2 nights next June, when the cost will be cheaper as its not a rugby international weekend
WiFi should be freely available
Location, value for money, quiet, good nights sleep.
A short walk into the town, free carpark that is locked overnight for security, breakfast with the option of upgrading to full english, great pub grub and reasonably priced :) ...generally very impressed :)
Being on the top floor, there was a fair few stairs...not a deal breaker though, just worked off the amazing food consumed downstairs!!
Bed comfort location,parking.
Poor breakfast,not enough staff available
Location of hotel, room was very clean nice bathroom
No hot water for shower, could not get sorted. Hotel food offers not got a clue about specials board. No one to sort you out at breakfast time not sue what was what
