Comfortable room Friendly staff Breakfast
I thought I ordered a single room but to my surprise there was a king size bed in the room!
There was a rumbling noise all throughout the night, I assume it was a boiler/machine outside making that noise. If I was a light sleeper I would have complained but I am bit and managed to sleep through it. The shower also wasn't the most powerful.
Staff very nice we stayed in room 27 it was very very dusty and had a musty smell also very noisey you could hear the activities of the couple next door !! Not ideal with a teenage daughter with you !! I wouldn't stay here again !!!
Location was useful for our needs. Staff friendly and helpful.
Needs updating and a thorough clean. Would not use again.
Staff were excellent.
Stained carpets in bedrooms.
This hotel was brilliant from arrival to departure, the room was very comfortable with great facilities, wifi was great and the food in the restaurant was top notch, I will be in the area on a quarterly basis and will definitely be booking here again
Only criticism is that the shower could have been more powerful
The location and cleanliness
Nice people and good breakfast Clean room and bathroom
Lumpy mattress Horrid cushions all stringy on the bed
Good food for a fair price
Rooms and corridors too hot
The breakfast was excellent!
Didn't feel particularly welcome.
At the end of the corridor the warm water took about 2/3 minutes to come through - you had to run the tap for ages - little water pressure & very dark bathroom - too dark to see to do make-up etc as the walls were dark panelled - need better light bulbs! The bed was very uncomfortable - springs popping through from underneath - I asked for a couple of duvets to put over the mattress - was given them with a smile but had to remake the bed myself. Cooked breakfast was fairly ordinary - very processed sausages & not much choice for gluten free.
Chap on reception very friendly and helpful. We were going to a party later in the night and asked if we could store some food we were taking in the kitchen to keep cool - not a problem. Only 1 towel in bedroom so asked for another & replaced straight away.
Shower wasn't very powerful
Nothing in particular
Heating did not work-arrived to a cold room around 9.30 at night. Receptionist said heating was timed and would come on later, if not I should come back in the morning and let them know. Went back later and asked for a portable heater which was delivered about 20 mins later. Carpet was very dirty. Room cleaning was poor.
staff very helpful and friendly room clean, warm spacious and comfortable room nice moder decor wifi really fast
breakfast was average - could be improved especially choices for vegetarians
Freindly receptionist - took payment the night before as I was going to be out by 6am
The room was freezing, there was no hot water and a bit of a funny smell, like someone had been smoking in there. Whole place needs a facelift.
It was very close to our friends home. A big and easy car park. Easy to find, with it being on the main road. No road noise. A wonderful breakfast.
No lift. I have difficulty with stairs both up or down. I am registered Disabled. I did not let the hotel know I was disabled. So I cannot complain.
Good staff. Lovely spacious room, good sized bathroom, nice towels and very comfortable beds!
We have stayed at the Beverley neumourous times and enjoyed the experience but the last visit wasn't has pleasant as I specified with Booking.com a room between 22-34 as we had stayed in the majority of the the rooms on many previous visit. So I thought a change was in order and specified a room between 22-34. As we arrived we were put into a room where there was dust on top of the wodrobes and was very noisy as it was situated next to an outside extractor air con unit. I asked to bemoved, they obliged, the new room was fare better but no remote for the TV and the shower head was not working properly. Congratulations though for the sandwiches we ordered previously brought to our room at 21.00 at night and the wonderful breakfast served with a smile.
The room service and breakfast with a smile.
Needs a good dust
privat parking, wifi on the room.
Linen and towels were of good quality, bed was very comfortable, and bedding was exceptionally well presented
Room decor was extremely dated and very tired. Shower flow could be much improved, drizzle is faster.
Staff made arrangements for us to have breakfast out of hours and moved us instantly when we arrived and the previous occupant had obviously been smoking in the room. Room was comfy and Wi-Fi good - and great value for money
carpets were a bit stained
friendly, homely feel had got everything i needed for a comfortable stay. food was lovely, staff really cared
the shower was not powerful enough and the shower head would not stay in place it kept falling to the bottom of the rail
Staff as usual were very good Hotel was comfortable
Wifi, breakfast, location, parking
Small bed, dated fixtures/ tired/ noisy, shower broken, no light above mirror
