Marks Hotel    

Nice room, roomy bathroom. Good breakfast, liked the haggis. No queues for breakfast. Very central location, close to stations. Friendly helpful staff.

I have stayed in Marks Hotel on a number of occasions. It is central to theatre and shopping and is close to train and bus stations for meeting family and firends. Staff are friendly, rooms are well furnished and it is still a hotel which caters for families or groups of friends (ie not every room being a double room as in some other hotels or just providing a sofa bed). I have been very satisfied with every visit I've made.

The car park next door to the hotel is very expensive - although a 25% discount is given, it still costs approx £15 for an overnight stay.

This hotel was perfect ! Good location and close to lots of restaurants. Walking distance to main shopping area in Glasgow, the university, and the train station. The rooms were very well decorated and bigger than we expected. The bathroom was also very big and clean. Adjacent restaurant, the One Ten, with good hot/cold buffet breakfast and good room service menu. Would definitely return.

Even though we arrived early staff allowed us to check in early it really helped

Asked for extra towels as 3 of us sharing and only towels for 2 but the maid service took away the towels before we had a chance to use them. A bit inconvenient.

Everything was wonderful, staff very friendly, the room was very clean, spacious and lovely decor, all facilities you needed were in the room, couldn't have been in a better location for all transport and shopping, big choice of menu, lovely food.

Bar choice of draught beers. Although not hotels real concern. The Q-Park car park is very badly explained, I had to pay £17.50 after 25% discount voucher [that didnt initially work]. For arriving 10 minutes before 6PM [all night 6PM until 8AM was £2.00]. For arrving 10 minutes before 6PM they charged me for 24 Hours! £20.

Location is great,close to railway station,shops,good restaurants,theatres. The staff in this hotel are always friendly and very helpful.

The double bed in our room 402 was too small for 2 people.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Really pleasant staff and excellent room.

The price is very value for a night. The room is big enough, feeling quite comfortable with it.

When I checked in, the staff couldnot find my information and it delays a few miniutes. Even it is not a big deal, they should still be concerned about their reservation system.
