Lovely hotel in Glasgow city centre easy access to shops, breakfast nice and quick and friendly service. Reception staff very friendly, rooms decorated and kept up to a good standard.
That the prices went up on a weekend we would have stayed longer if it was the same price.
Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. Amazingly large and comfortable rooms. Excellent location in the city centre.
Location was very good, central yet quiet
Bed was slightly short for me as a tall-ish guy
good clean easy to get to
no a negative but room was small
Staff were friendly. Service was very good. Hotel and room were very clean and location was fairly good for our purpose.
Restaurant menu did not appeal and seemed the same as on a previous visit about 6 /7 months ago. Price quite high for the few facilities on offer Room very warm with no aircon. but with window just slightly open the noise till all hours ,prevented much sleep
Good parking possibilities near hotel; Location in the center of Glasgow;
parking a little expensive; Breakfast could be better;
The location was great, and the staff were very accommodating.
The deco was a litte dark and the room was not terribly spacious.
GREAT LOCATION,NICE FOOD, FREINDLY STAFF AND VERY CLEAN.
PRICE A BIT HIGH BUT WAS THIS BECAUSE OF THE COMMENWEALTH GAMES. LONDON HOTEL PRICES ALSO WENT UP WHEN STAGING THE OLYMPICS.
wifi our twin room has a doube and a single room. big rooms powerful shower (Compared with other sctoland othels).
central location for transport and theatres
The reception staff were excellent and very helpful. The hotel room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The city of Glasgow was a wonderful place to visit
Noise from pub late at night and refuse collection early morning. Unimaginative breakfast selection. No outlook from bedrooms and very small bathroom. Vastly overpriced for the standard.
Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast - good varied selection of food. Spacious room.
I enjoyed the restaurant/pub attached to the hotel. The cocktail menu, based of the famous Clyde Shipbuilding, was the creative invention of the manager. Nice touch.
Good Location. Friendly and helpful Staff Excellent Breakfast
Expensive (probably due to CWG). Room very small and not as shown on web site. Offer of a "Room Upgrade" on checking in, when not available when booking on web.
Beds comfy Room very spacious Nice decor
Quite pricey just for room only 295 could have included at least continental breakfast staff very rude after I asked put me off this was on arrival .
Easy simple and effective hotel for a business traveller
room above night club
Fairly central location
Everything is relative. Being ripped off on Commonwealth Games Rates sent this otherwise ordinary hotel way down the value for money scale. No Aircon - warm, balmy Glasgow nights resulted in us not being able to sleep in the room!
A lot of money for poor service and facilities.
Excellent for stopover on way to Loch Lomond & West Coast of Scotland. Good breakfast in excellent restaurant. Good value. Close to bars restaurants & central shopping.
No onsite parking, however free parking outside 6pm to 8am and hotel discount in nearby multi-storey.
how can u justify price up another £50/£60 between23july and1st aug both commonwealth games dates???
good breakfast . Breakfast staff were really excellent and friendly.
price increase for the games .
Cheap. Good location. Nice rooms.
Room always smelt faintly of cig smoke even though its supposed to be a non-smoking hotel?
excellent location and great value for money
