Bewley’s Hotel Manchester Airport  

The hotel is extremely well located for access to terminal 1 of Manchester Airport - it's a short, five minute walk away or if you prefer a shuttle bus runs as well. Despite its proximity to the airport the hotel was very quiet and I was not disturbed by noise from aeroplanes at all. Check in was quick and easy and the room was large, comfortable and spotlessly clean.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The smell of smoke on the floor that I was staying in and the comfort of the bed.

I stayed at Bewley's for three nights whilst doing a bit of retail therapy in Manchester. I did not hire a car and used public transport which was excellent. The hotel is less than 5 mins walk to the train and bus terminal which meant I could easily get to anywhere I wanted. The hotel is also less than 5 min walk to terminal 1 and 3, although there was a great hotel shuttle (free!!) which was running all day and the drivers were very helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and was serviced every day. There was even a mini ironing board in the room which I thought was great. The breakfast was quite expensive at nine pounds fifty but I had it one morning and the choice was extensive from cereals to fruit and full cooked irish breakfast and muffins. I did not eat in the restaurant in the evenings but the menu looked very good. All in all I would definately go back to Bewley's in the future and recommend it highly.

Location to Airport and the service offered to and from for pick up and drop off was very helpful. Food was very good as was service!

Good hotel, 4mins walk from the airport, at a reasonable price

We stayed overnight as we had a flight to Dulin @ 7.55 am & the price included being picked up at Airport Station & dropped off at t2 following morning & we could have a nights sleep.

£79.95 is a little expensive if you are not parking your car for a few days.

Like the slightly older style of furniture and general appearance, especially in the reception / lounge area. Like the clean, modern, well- functioning bathroom. Like friendly staff at the reception.

Dislike that a FOUR-star hotel operates the Internet on a slot-machine basis for one Pound per ten minutes !! (with both computers broken most of the time anyway!) dislike the fact that a simple cup of tea is gbp 2.50.- when the entire breakfast is 9.50.- dislike the fact that I put a shirt and cleaning request / form for that shirt on my bed in the morning and in the evening I find out nobody has touched the shirt, and a grumpy room maid tells me "we don't take those, you have to take your laundry to the reception". Really? In a FOUR-star hotel guests carry their laundry to the reception? (In order to line up with the guests who check in or out ?) (I own a travel company (group travel from the US to Europe) and spend a considerable part of my life in hotels....

The restaraunt was excellent and the free minibus to the airport terminal was very useful.

I Work at the airpiort. And sometimes have to stay over. I found the hotel an absolute pleasure. Quiet modern and beautifully decorated and furnushed. Simple to book in. No fuss and very helpfull. Extreamly good valie for money

Frequent shuttles available to travel to and from the airport.

It is not readily evident that there is a separate menu for the bar area. The menue posted is for the dinning room only. Would be nice is that was made clearer. I did see several people other than our selves walking away after reading the dinning room menu.
