Bewley’s Hotel Manchester Airport  

The hotel is extremely well located for access to terminal 1 of Manchester Airport - it's a short, five minute walk away or if you prefer a shuttle bus runs as well. Despite its proximity to the airport the hotel was very quiet and I was not disturbed by noise from aeroplanes at all. Check in was quick and easy and the room was large, comfortable and spotlessly clean.

Adjacent to both the airport and the railway station. Shuttle service was excellent.

Room has a bit of smell due to poor ventilation.

I liked all aspects of the hotel. From the moment you check in to the moment you checkout, the staff in all areas of the hotel were friendly and helpful. The roooms are very comfortable and have everything one would require for a short stay. Food is served right through out the day and evenings. For people travelling on early morning flights, a wonderful breakfast is available from 5.00am. The location of the hotel at the airport and the free shuttle service direct to your terminal, made it a hassle free stay. I would definitely stay at Bewley's again.

Like the fact they pick you up from the station and take you to the hotel and then to your terminal the next day at no extra charge unlike some budget hotels who do charge for buses

The close proxiity tonthe airport, meaning I didn 't have to get up at the crack of dawn to race across town to catch my flight.

Only there for one night. My only comment- and not really a complaint - was that my room was so far away from the entrance.. It wasn't easy dragging my heavy suitcase all the way to the Iift, etc. PS my address is North Rocks, not Orth Rocks for your review.

It's proximity to the airport and price

Being a solo female traveller, I chose the hotel based on price and location and the fact it provided a free shuttle.. This was important to me as I was travelling long haul and not arriving in manchester until 9.30 pm. I contacted the hotel from t3 at 9.55 pm and was told where to pick up the shuttle and that it would be there wirhin 15 minutes. I waited for 30 minutes on my own and had to ring again. I was then picked up with driver full of apologies saying they were very busy. But they had in fact forgotten me. At check in, I was again invisible. There were 2 ladies on reception checking people in, but when it was my turn, the lady started chatting with the other receptionist and the couple she was checking in. Extremely rude, and no word of apology from either of them the room was an accessibility room, never the best rooms because of the functionality they have to provide.,it was certainly not soundproof as their advert offers. I was very disappointed with the service and would not stay there again, or be able to recommend it.

Access to the airport

We received no help from the staff with maneuvering our trolleys of luggage, even when it was obvious that we needed it (we are both disabled). We were given a room a great distance away. Our room was mediocre at best and noisy. With current construction going on, it was nye on impossible to get to. Consider another hotel at the Airport (there are loads.)

The facilities including the free shuttle service to the airport. The room was clean and the staff very helpful, An enjoyable overnight stay.

Easy location, clean room, good bedding and clean.

Parking is a problem.

The convenience of being able to book a room plus 8 days parking (with airport shuttle) as we were flying from Manchester airport .Also being able to check in late and still get a meal (and drink) in the bar. Nice room and comfy beds got our holiday off to a good start !

Not enough reception staff at busy periods

Great exterior soundproofing, comfortable, very friendly, good food and great value, great location, and excellent airport transfer facility to Airport
