Bei der letzten Revision des Schlosses wurde leider die Schlossatmosphäre entsorgt. Ein Speisesaal heute The Oak Room genannt, ist ein grauer undefinierbarer und ungemütlicher Raum geworden. In früheren Jahren war es da so gemütlich. Treppenhaus und die Gänge speziell in der 2. Etage sind leergeräumt und sehen aus wie ein alter verlassener Dachboden. Die ganze gemütliche und ehemals passende Ambiance ist weg! Lohnt sich da der Umweg dahin noch?

We stayed at the Bibury Court Hotel because we were attending a wedding in the church next door.It is possible to walk through a door in the wall between the hotel and church so it was very convenient. The room was a reasonable size and very well lit. Unusually for an hotel it was very easy to read in bed. The pillows were without doubt the most comfortable we have ever experienced anywhere in the world (including at home!). The towels were superb.

Our original booking was mishandled and we were given a room which was not in accordance with our request. However, having telephoned reception, the booking was changed and we were given a discount on the new room. We were also given an abject apology. We did not eat in the restaurant because we decided it was far too expensive and the cost of wines was simply outrageous.

In all my years of travelling and therefore hotel stays. I cannot remember hotel staff being more attentative to guests. The job dictates staff have good and bad days. Not it seems at Bibury Court. The hotels location is outstanding. The entire stay, from checking in to checking out was a tremendous pleasure. I and my wife will certainly be back and we will be recommending it unreservedly to family and friends. Thankyou Bibury Court Hotel

room we were in needed a little updating, dont often see carpets in a WC.

good location to reach sight seeing area . even without going these , wonderful beautiful building ,cute interior room and garden are good place to spend time . very good dinner . friendly and kind staff .

3rd floor without lift was a bit tough to up and down .

The staff are extremely charming and very helpful. The grounds are superb, the terrace is outstanding. The quality of food is exemplary. All-in-all a lovely place to stay!

The shower in my bath was the best - big, rain downpour, lots of pressure. The setting and the walks about - I have been coming to Bibury Court since 1983.

My room had nowhere to hang clothes: there was an armoire, but all shelves. The fine shower had a flimsy curtain which blew in - should have glass enclosure, yes? The mural in the dining room is hideous!

Un cadre exceptionnel

It was a fabulous experience for us to stay in this hotel. Hotel itself and cuisine of restaurant are brilliant enough but the most incredible for me is the staff- they are very kind and eager to help guests. I wish to visit there again.
