Beautiful hotel, staff were amazing. This was my first solo trip and me and my dog had a wonderful time. We were shown a walk that we could do which was lovely. Then the lounge area we could relax for a drink. The staff for dinner were amazing and really enjoyed my meal. They even watched the dog when I had to pop off to the bathroom. Breakfast was lovely again. Staff were so friendly and really accommodating. Perfect stay especially if you have a pooch

Bibury (Buy bury) was a WONDERFUL little town with so much history. We loved stepping into this quiet town, embracing the history of Arlington Row and the surrounding Cotswolds area. The Swan Hotel and restaurant were special. Thank you for a wonderful vacay. This town is a MUST VISIT in the Cotswolds.

Bibury is a lovely little village in the Cotswold.
Bibury is a lovely little village in the Cotswold. Highlight was of course the Arlington Row. Very pretty. The small river is beaming with wildlife. We saw water voles and hummingbird hawk moths! The village has one pub and a hotel. Food at the pub was good. I prefer this village than Burton upon the Water.

A very pretty village worth only a 2-3 hour visit.
A very pretty village worth only a 2-3 hour visit. Avoid at bank holidays, school hols and week-ends as you will not find a parking place. Even if you do, you will be jostling with hundreds of other visitors in limited space. If you can get a table, lunch at The Swan is very pleasant. The whole village, trout farm, cottages etc can be seen on foot in an hour or two. Not particularly interesting for kids.

Bibury is a quintessentially chocolate box Cotswold village...
Bibury is a quintessentially chocolate box Cotswold village but unlike quite a lot of them it is quiet rural in its centre and spacious. Quite a few Cotswold villages are clustered together around either the main street or for example a market square but Bibury is so calming and pretty
Arlington Row is definitely worth the visit and I would guess walking around the area is fabulous but we didn't get a chance to try
However if you wish to have a little bit of something going on ie a choice of restaurants, boutiques and bars then Bibury is not for you
I booked Sycamore for my wedding at a Cripps venue, which meant that I was also getting ready there with my bridesmaids, hair and makeup artists and mum. It was absolutely perfect; lots of space, great outside area, beautiful bathroom and shower with large mirror, lovely bedroom and sociable breakfast bar. The owner was lovely and even cleaned the room for us after we left for the venue and tied ribbons around the apartment to make it extra special! It was all just perfect and I am so glad we decided to book here! Highly recommend.
Our room was lovely and quiet. We looked out over the bridge and water so a perfect view. The bathroom had enough room for our various bottles and cosmetics and the shower was easy to operate. All of the people were very helpful and the servers in the dining room was very friendly - Marie especially. The overall decorations was charming and well suited to the hotel and location. We really enjoyed our meals there, both breakfasts and dinners.
Very cute cottage, all the amenities you could need, very quiet quaint location, very clean throughout. Lovely quality bed linens and towels, also loved the beautiful Bath spa toiletries. Plenty of space for 2 and a medium dog, probably fine for 4 people too! Would definitely recommend. Bibury is a very beautiful village, the food at the white swan is amazing too.
The most romantic location we have ever been to! We stayed in Trumpeter cottage - perfect for a holiday with kids - parents could have some privacy:) Food in the restaurant local sourced and super delicious (try the dishes "to share" - exceptional brie and duck!). Friendly waiters and reception. We left our coats behind - they send them by DPD next day.
Absolutely everything. It was clean, comfortable and very modern with some tasteful older furnishings. The bedroom was massive and the bed was hotel standard. The bathroom is very modern and well fitted out. It is in a very quiet location in a nice village.
We wanted to take a break for my wife's "30th" birthday and knowing Bibury to be a lovely place, took the opportunity to stay over at the Swan. The food was good but waiting staff were a bit disorganised. Not sure if it was the pandemic but bit showed.
The location is great - very close to the main points of interest. The hotel has a really beautiful and relaxing garden, which we enjoyed. The breakfast was amazing and the food we tried in the restaurant was of good quality as well.
Perfect location, clean room & friendly staff! The hotel is near Catherine Wheel, a very good restaurant in town. Bibury is a very small village so the hotel is near everything :)))
Lovely characterful place right in the middle of Bibury. Really handy for either the Catherine Wheel or the Swan Hotel. All the facilities you could need for a few days
