the room was on the 2nd floor almost at the fire escape not very picturesque or grand
a one and only stay. very quiet, delicious food, lovely staff. hope to come back.
Marvelous period manor house and wonderful village setting. The food and service was top quality. Our stay was one of the highlights of our trip. The setting, with the brook, gardens, walking trails, etc., was perfect. And then, the town of Bibury is just splendid.
There is no lift and we were far removed from the front door, and a number of the floors on the top level were very, very uneven. However, considering the age of the house and its historic status, these inconveniences were expected and easily overlooked.
Location and the building itself.
Poor English breakfast: excessive fat on bacon and small servings. Flies in the room were causing problems.
Approach to Bibury Court beautiful, external elements all stunning. Location and grounds superb. Lovely waitress serving breakfast.
bedroom scruffy with mishmash of furniture which was tired and didn't belong, mirror needed cleaning, mould in shower, screw covers missing from toilet inspection cover, only 1 bedside table. Bed in wrong location, no headboard, missing picture. Out of date yoghurts at breakfast and a lot of flies in conservatory. Breakfast poor, undercooked and very small portion would not describe as 'full' English. No reception staff to be found when we tried to check out. Brown parcel tape securing edges of carpet in lounge area, lounge tired and in need of a makeover. Unable to provide a menu for evening meal until 7pm when dinner served so decided to eat elsewhere. Drinking glasses and lemon slices on the lawns...
very antique and beutiful building. not only exterior but also interior. little complicated way to get my room was interesting. very nice breakfast and restorant. old and little bit scary church is very close
5 minute walk to get to the town center. I failed to connect wifi.
Staff was warm and inviting. Our room had all the comforts we could ask for plus a view of the gardens. You really can't beat the location, it is so relaxing and beautiful that words just can't describe. We also had afternoon tea, dinner ANC breakfast here, and all 3 we're fantastic.
The area is fantastic within easy reach of the Cotswolds. The hotel was very clean staff were fantastic and very helpful food was good
The menu for the same for the two nights we were there only a choice of three main meals a'lcart which was a little disappointing
Great service from the staff, excellent food and beautiful environment as are the Cotswolds.
Excellent location and good comfortable surroundings and good staff
Good location, good historical building, wonderful garden.
Wonderful quiet verdant location for the classic Jacobean mansion. Personable, efficient staff.
The property is beautiful & the bed was so comfortable! Breakfast was very tasty too.
Had friends who stayed with us & they couldn't get into their room after an internal door locked them out. It concerned us both greatly that the hotel was unmanned overnight. If there was an emergency ie. fire; who would be in charge of the evacuation procedure?
The staffs ability to please from start to finish over our 2 night stay.
The hotel shut down with no apparent staff on site over night. Only an emergency nos. to ring which caused problems for a fellow guest who had been locked out of their room. Where does the safety element fit for example in case of a fire or sudden illness? Usually there is a night porter .
Location and comfort excellent.
No night porter to great us and tell us about facilities and no guest directory in the room. Staff friendly but very young and inexperienced.
Friendly and efficient staff. Teriffic food, accommodation and superb location
No hotel sign on the outside wall by the main road making it difficult to find and stop in time when approaching
Absolutely stunning location! Staff were very friendly and helpful and rooms were spacious and clean, would recommend a visit especially for a special occasion.
Wonderful location, very peaceful and picturesque surroundings. Ideal for relaxing and enjoying the english countryside.
loads of flies in our room because it was located on top of the hotel kitchen. Also, the reception was a bit understaffed especially in the evening.
Great food great hotel
