Location was excellent for central London and shopping facilities The stair carpet leading to our room was very threadbare and torn it was actually quite dangerous if you had caught your foot in it. |

The staff were friendly, particularly the reception staff in the evening. I chose the hotel for the location (for my work), so obviously that was fine. £60/night - I normally use Premier Inns, which are more expensive: but you get what you pay for. It's generally shabby, with frayed carpets, faded wallpaper etc. Nothing works very well (e.g. the shower keeps running a little after it's switched off - and it keeps going all night). Definitely a lower grade B&B place for 1 night's stay, rather than a hotel for a few nights. |

The location was convenient. The hotel was very shabby. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The window wouldn't close properly so i had the constant din of traffic and was therefore unable to sleep. |

Only that it was a bed for nighttime and the sheets were clean. Breakfasts very very poor 2 of our days we ate out at breakfast time. worn carpets on stairs, hotel generally dirty especially the bathroom. Windows did not open, fan in room i had to stand on a chair to reach the switch as it was very high up. very bad floorboards in our room. Unfriendly staff. |

Room good size The breakfast should not be listed as full english as it consisted of 1 rasher of bacon 1 egg and 1 hash brown. The tea pot contained 1 tea bag and I had to ask for another 1. I considered the breakfast very poor quality. |

There was mould around the shower basin, the bed bases were all frayed, the curtain didn't hang properly on the windows, carpets were threadbare - particularly the stairs. Fallen grandeur springs as a description. Website photos have either been enhanced, or were carefully selected. The 24hr check-in didn't apply, we waited ages for someone to open the front door, and couldn't check in until >2pm. |
