I liked the customer service The hotel rooms were nothing more than a budget hotel, In total honesty we could have got much better value for money at other hotels, the superior deluxe rooms, whcih we though we were getting, are great but wayyyyyyyyyy over-priced, especially in todays world. We could have got a great deal elsewhere with so many promotions going about. The name boutique hotel for what is northing more than superior budget family rooms is either bad marketing or totally pretentious! |

The lighting in the hotel rooms is poor. Nothing but down lighters and not well placed. Bathrooms in particular are poorly lit for shaving and grooming. Fresh vegetables rather than frozen would be more in keeping with the price of dining. (I'm assuming they are frozen as nothing cooked so al dente could possibly taste so bland I am sure). The excellent staff are its redeeming feature. |

contemporary design, clean and comfortable. Luxurious well planed rooms feel like designer apartments - we very much enjoyed our stay as we were able to relax in comfort. Food is very good also. Staff attentative and helpful. |

The hotel room was very comfortable. Staff were generally helpful and friendly I stayed under a special offer but was never advised of the terms and conditions which meant the special offer was made null and void. This does not help with pomotions offering value for money or perceptions of quality customer services provision. |

i liked everything about the big blue hotel excellent room although mine was an upgrade clean ,large, comfortable,bathroom great shower/bath.the food in the restaurant at night was excellent,the breakfast was great no buffet hot food here!probably the best and largest breakfast i have ever had in a hotel or any were else for that matter.staff great ,couldnt fault it great position if you want the pleasure beach as it is built into it, and the rest of blackpools amenities and it is positioned on the sea front ,well kind of at right angles to it. large car park to nothing really but it would have been nice tohave had a fridge and a few more channels on the tv although you do get a dvd player |

The marine aquarium in reception, very relaxing. The comfortable chairs in the room, we were able to chill in comfort. Only one packet of biscuits we thought was a bit miserly, but overall our stay was lovely. |

The room was lovely and a great bonus was the seperate kids room with their own T V. Breakfast was included and for an extra £3 we had it delivered to our room at a time that suited us great!!!! parking was a bit tight!!! |

I enjoyed my stay at the Big Blue and would not hesitate to highly recommend it to my friends. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, food was excellent with a very varied menu and the room was just right for my stay. The Hotel is a little far out of town centre and most people would need transport to get there. I walk a lot so apart from the weather it did not put me off. Entertainment (cabaret, or disco) of some sort would be a bonus, as again transport is really needed to reach any entertainment. I should imagine it to be very noisy during the season as it is actually in the pleasure beach itself. |

Easy parking clean bright hotel friendly staff nice well equiped rooms (I was upgraded for free). Free wifi in all areas Gym was v small and unattended, Drinks pricy compared to town. Hotel is 2-3 miles out of town center |

The room was very clean. There was alot less noise than i expected. the tv wasnt working on the first night but the staff gave us a complimentary dvd to watch and the tv was fixed by the second night. Unfortunately pleasure beach resort was closed without any warning on the website and we never got to experience what we came for but there was plenty to do on the seafront. |
