The room was probably the best I have stayed in for this price level. Every element of the room design screamed class, comfort and style. It would have been nice to have a swimming pool. |

Location is brilliant, Car parking is Brilliant, Guest facilities are first class, very easy to find. room was great, bathroom was excellant, maybe a wee bit over priced. bear in mind this is next to the pleasure beach, & a 5 second walk to the sea front, the hotel is set up for guests to go out during the days, dont expect to be entertained by the hotel, its not that sort of blackpool hotel, this one has a wee bit of class. a bit niosey at night, but can only expect this from a hotel right next to the pleasure beach and full of familys, |

I would stay there again the room was comfortable it has everything you need tv dvd and the hotel was clean. Didnt have time to stay for breakfast so cant comment on this. But we got there early and the staff said we could check in early which as good. The noise from the pleasure beach the rides was outside our window so every 5mins you could hear the rides go buy. |

The Hotel is very clean. I was there for only a weekend and I would like to comeback again in the future. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly. Overall, Im happy with the hotel but may be it would be nice to provide clients with a swimming pool. This is the only thing lacking!!!! Secondly, while I was doing the Check In, the person at the reception was not really that informative concerning my way to my Room. So me and my wife got lost and was a bit frustrated since we have been driving for 4 1/2 hours to reach blackpool. It was our first time there and It would be better to tell us that our room was on the 4th floor. We had no clue and was up and down , confused!!! But we were cool down when we entered our room....it was fantastic and what we were looking for. |

The Big Blue Hotel is a good hotel. Rooms are good and all very clean. The buffet breakfast was very good and we didnt have to wait at all. The biggest problem with this hotel is location. Although its partnered with the pleasurebeach it is still a 15 minute walk to the entrance. It is also a 30 min walk to the main shopping area or a £7 taxi. There is no small shops to even get a newspaper in the morning!! Location, loction, location |

Staff very friendly and helpful, room clean and comfortable with good air conditioning, Able to check in early as we had arrived earlier than expected after a long journey. Would have liked the day-time / room service menu to have been available in the dining room in the evenings. As a result we only have a meal on 2 of the 4 nights stay, choosing to go elsewhere on the other nights Had the other (less expensive) menu been available during the evening we would have had all our meals in the hotel. |

This was our third visit to the big blue as we would not stay anywhere else, its a great hotel for the kids, at a quiter end of the promenade away from the noise of the centre, great buffet breakfast, busy but did not have long to wait. I think the hotel should have the entrance to the pleasure beach (which is right next to the hotel) open. Also when we arrived I asked the receptionist to take payments from my card for both my rooms for the two nights we were staying, but on departure I was given a bill for one nights stay in one of the rooms which she must have forgot to take, this was not a problem as I had the money to pay, but what would someone do if they did not have enough money to pay, I think this would be very embarrassing for a customer, but everyone makes mistakes and it was'nt a big deal in the end. |

Deluxe room was spacious and air con was a great help as it was extremely hot in blackpool during our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was close enough to where we were going during our stay and it was overall a great holiday! |

The Big Blue was fantastic from the get go. The staff were very welcoming and very helpful down to engaging with the children whilst booking in.It made a very comfortable and pleasing stay and we will definately be returning to this splendid hotel and recommending it to all our friends & family. The family room was excellent and well thought out, congratulations on a wonderful buffet breakfast and very competant staff .A+,keep it up guys and Thank You. No I can not think of anything that i didnt like about the hotel apart from the lifts sempt abit on the small side but who cares, they worked just fine. |

Very nice hotel. A bit of luxury on Blackpool's Promenade. All interior of rooms and hotel are of a high standard and staff that I liaised with were polite and very helpful. Plenty of choice at breakfast time. Cash machine in hotel charged for dispensing money (as do all which are not linked to a bank/building society) |

The fast efficent check in,the staff very attentive and always helpful if not always correct, excellent rooms very clean very roomy no hidden fees. Dress code in the dinning room ,allowing people to wear football shirts and baseball caps to breakfast is a no no,if you want to have chav's staying let them eat somewere else ,not everyone follows this stream of dress ,just bad manners! |

One of the views from the hotel room was over the pleasure beach rides which my grandaughter loved. Spacious bedrooms. Excellent self service breakfast. Plenty of parking spaces. We would have preferred to book in to the hotel earlier than 3.00pm. |

The restaurant was very good and plenty for the children to chose from. The service was excellent. My only complaint is that in the family suites there is not enough soundproofing. The family above us sounded like they had a herd of elephants in their room which woke us very early and kept us awake until late. |

The assortment of food and the quality at breakfast was of a high standard, and not the cheap food supplied by some hotel chains. The staff were pleased to assist in any way they could and were always polite. The bedroom my wife and i had (Superior ?) had just the one comfortable chair, which meant one of us had to sit on the bed or on one of the hardbacked chairs. The only other issues were a lift was out of order during our stay which resulted in having to wait at times, but no one can plan for such issues. |

The Barceló Imperial Hotel is situated prominently on Blackpool's North Promenade, just a short walk from the North Pier. The Hotel benefits from being on the quieter, more picturesque North Shore. |
