Our party of 6 had a family room and a twin room. The family room was big however the bathroom was tired looking needing redecoration, The twin room was very good. I booked this as a late boking and therefore it was great value for money especially the family room, £42.00 for 4 people. The staff worked hard to manage the reception and bar and were very pleasant and professional. The hotel was as I expected, similar to a Travel lodge, The location is superb very close to St Davids Shopping Centre, opposite the Cardiff International Centre, near the train station and a short bus ride to Cardiff Bay, great location. The bath room needed redecoration. |

The guy that checked me is was great...told me what to do while i was in town..and the view was great....and was very very nice everytime i came to the front desk....great assit to the hotel.. nice clean room...great shower :) I did not like how kinda unsafe the entrance was.....anyone can come in, and being a single girl i felt very unsafe...not to mention i had to walk up the car ramp to get to reception late at night and it was not light up at all..anyone can come in to the hotel at anytime....the hotel really needs a make over...and the walls could use a coat of paint...bed was awful...kept squeaking a every time i moved... |

Good position. Close to Center and Milenium Stadium. Good HD Television. The windows can not be openned and there is no aircondition. you pay for parking but if you leave the car-park you may not have a place when you come back!!! |

I liked the location as the hotel is very close to all the shops in the centre of Cardiff. The room I was in felt very clinical. I was not fond of the fleece curtains and the fact that I couldn't open a window to get some fresh air. Also the breakfast was very basic and not very appealing (especially the overcooked eggs...) |

I sure did sleep very well in this hotel. The room was clean, and more spacious than any other I'd stayed in the UK. The price was good compared to nearby hotels. The windows needed some cleaning from the outside and the elevator was squirky. |

Good views over Cardiff Bay, simple but functional design. Being finnicky, some of the lower stairs are showing signs of wear. |

I booked to stay the night with my husband, went shopping, out for a meal, then out round the pubs, Weve stayed at The Big Sleep before, its excellent value for money, clean, huge room with an en suite, continental breakfast fab! will definately stay there again! we had to check out at 10.30am, a bit early! especially after having a few drinks the night before! some hotels, you can check out at 12 o clock, but then i suppose you pay more to stay in the first place! |

For the price it offered more than I thought it would toiletries, tea and coffee facilities, ironing facilities and hair dryer. The room was large, light and comfortable. |

the interior design of the overall hotel.Everything was easy and simple. the windows were fixed so they could not be opened, so on a warm day we had to rely on the small fan placed in the room. |
