Hotel staff were phenomenal. They were extremely helpful in finding out all the information we needed to plan our time in Wales. They were very patient with the many questions we had. Also, the continental breakfast was quite good. When we arrived in the room, the heater was off and it took some time for the room to warm up to a comfortable temperature. |

The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast room was cute and the range of food was superb. The room was clean and spacious. The decor throughout was modern and funky. Overall the hotel was clean and the staff were crackin! The double mattress in the room was quite worn and therefore a little uncomfy and noisy when I turned over. |

looks pretty cool from the website, but is actually really stark and more like a hostel. You do feel like you are staying in a hospital, very clinical. But it is clean, and the breakfast is included, plus is very close to town. |

Location was great from the train station. 1. Pillows were very poor offering very little comfort for sleeping & no additional pillows present in the room. 2. No option of a cooked breakfast, just what was needed after a rugby trip. |

The room rate and its location This was our second stay in the hotel this year and, while the quirkiness was appealing in the first instance, the return visit showed the hotel up for what it really is – a glorified youth hostel. |

Excellent location for City break. Room bright and spacious. The included continental breakfast was a bonus. Cereals, toast, fruit, boiled eggs, yoghurt etc and plenty of it. Facilities in room were adequate and room was very clean. Opposite CIA (see below also) Central location adjacent to rail track means there is some noise from trains but we didn't find it inturusive on the eighth floor. It's right next door to CIA so some noise from rock concert although not very loud and finished by 11pm. Car parking very limited. |

The close location to the city centre was excellent. the breakfast was adequate and offered a reasnoble choice. The advertised 'Parking is Possible' was totally misleading. Parking was not possible and the member of staff was arogant, offensive and argumentative. We very disappointed and the member of staff's attitude ruined our stay. |

The hotel had a contemporary feel to it and it was central to the city, only 5 mins walk from Cardiff Central. Only 1 hair dryer per floor and only one pillow each! The breakfast room was pretty simple as it was a help yourself breakfast with mainly toast and cereal on the menu. No hot buffet except hard boiled eggs. Check in is a 3pm so don't plan on going there too early. |

the location was good and the room was clean although the curtins were dirty as you could clearly see this as dust has collectedand made the room grubby looking but this didn't really bother us much the breakfast was poor for what you payed for in your price and i had to ask the kitchen staff for a plate and then once i had the plate i had to go back and ask for a knife as there was none out. The tea and coffee suplies in the room were poor between two people sharing for one there was enough tea bags and coffee for the night but low supply of sugar and milk. There should have been two extra pillows or even one to have spare or staff should have said that they could provide extra if asked. As it was late at night we just left it. I would use this hotel again but i would book a budget room as i feel that the room i stayed in was basically budget. I would think about looking around for another hotel next time but would use this again |

Excellent location, excellent family room, excellent customer service, excellent value for money, and excellent continental breakfast included. I guess you can tell we were extremely impressed with the Big Sleep Hotel, and will definately return if ever in Cardiff again. |

I liked the basic modern layout of the room and its location could not have been any better A little close to the railway track which was a little noisey and more parking would be benificial |
