The hotel had a contemporary feel to it and it was central to the city, only 5 mins walk from Cardiff Central. Only 1 hair dryer per floor and only one pillow each! The breakfast room was pretty simple as it was a help yourself breakfast with mainly toast and cereal on the menu. No hot buffet except hard boiled eggs. Check in is a 3pm so don't plan on going there too early. |

I thought the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would like to stay in the hotel again and would recommend it to others. |

the location was good and the room was clean although the curtins were dirty as you could clearly see this as dust has collectedand made the room grubby looking but this didn't really bother us much the breakfast was poor for what you payed for in your price and i had to ask the kitchen staff for a plate and then once i had the plate i had to go back and ask for a knife as there was none out. The tea and coffee suplies in the room were poor between two people sharing for one there was enough tea bags and coffee for the night but low supply of sugar and milk. There should have been two extra pillows or even one to have spare or staff should have said that they could provide extra if asked. As it was late at night we just left it. I would use this hotel again but i would book a budget room as i feel that the room i stayed in was basically budget. I would think about looking around for another hotel next time but would use this again |

Excellent location, excellent family room, excellent customer service, excellent value for money, and excellent continental breakfast included. I guess you can tell we were extremely impressed with the Big Sleep Hotel, and will definately return if ever in Cardiff again. |

I liked the basic modern layout of the room and its location could not have been any better A little close to the railway track which was a little noisey and more parking would be benificial |

It was clean and fairly comfortable, and near to the Cardiff International Arena The breakfast was a big disappointment, everything was self service and there were very few staff around. Actually getting into the hotel was quite confusing. |

The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. Really nice breakfast and breakfast room. Chipped paint on walls (in room). Sadly the room wasn't as nice as the rest of the hotel we saw. |

I booked a twin and was pleased that the beds were not narrow singles. The continental breakfast was excellent, excellent location and the staff extremely helpful. The room was slightly chilly on first entering but then we found the heater |

Room in Cardiff was spacious and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful with great suggestions regarding dining in the area. Car park was extremely small and inadequate for the hotel. Paying for parking at a hotel greatly detracts from what was a very pleasant stay. |

It was cold and heater didn't work. Staff agreed to bring a portable heater to room but didn't arrive. The room was unclean, curtains filthy. |

The staff were excellent and a;ways happy to help no matter what time of day. Also considering it was a city hotel the price of additional extras was more than reasonable. Rooms were excellent and very spacious would definalty return again many thanks. |

Only staying one night, all I can say is thankfully the overall experience was stress free. Quick checkin/checkout, didn't have to follow up on anything Checkout was to early and to extend it was not worth it. |

All the staff were very helpful and made me and my mother feel very welxome. No tea and coffee in the rooms, that was the only fault I could think off. |

Thwe hotel is based in the city centre but it still retains an air of calm. The bars were busy but not crowded during a rugby international weekend - something of a rarity in Cardiff. The rooms were comfortable. I have been visiting the Big Sleep for some years now and feel that maybe it is due a refurbishment. Some of the veneer on the furniture was chipped and the shower wasn't as powerful as in other comparable hotels. |

It's close proximity to the shops and The Arena found the bed a little too hard for our liking and only 1 pillow each!! |
