This design-led hotel has an excellent location in central Cardiff, and gives views out over the city. Stylish rooms offer free Wi-Fi, just 330 ft from Cardiff Central Train and Bus Station.

In Cardiff’s vibrant center, this hotel is less than a 5-minute walk from Cardiff Arena. It offers modern rooms with satellite TV, and an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast.

ease of parking, informality, value for money based on city centre access.
As we were staying in Cardiff to make the most of a concert at Motopoint arena, the location was perfect. The hotel is clean and comfortable and value for money
A little disappointed with continental breakfast & is not the most room to dine in
The area it was in close to pretty much everything
Needs to be updated given a little refresh and it's the same as it was a good 5/6 years ago
Location and comfort are the best things about this hotel, but for what you pay who cares what the rest is like. One nights stay and you'll be fine
Room freezing wall heater and spare not working. Booked twin room and had double. Curtains manky like dog blankets. Stayed In better hostels. Wouldn't stay again or recommend!
Good value for money
You can tell that it used to be an office block
Bed comfy and perfect location
Duvet too small for bed and when asked for a blanket or second duvet was told by staff they don't keep spares!!!was offered another heater but room nice and warm anyway
The location was great and there are good parking options at the hotel and in nearby NCPs.
Where do I start... Dirty floors, door surrounds & skirting boards, cobwebs on the ceilings, curtains that didn't cover the windows (and were made out of thick furry brown fabric that looks like our dog's bed), freezing cold room with an inadequate heater, no hair dryer, lamp above bed did not work either. The bathroom was ancient and tap covered in limescale, plus the tile grouting was grubby. Fortunately we were moved to an alternative room which offered a slight improvement. The bathroom was a big improvement at least. Breakfast was a disgrace, dirty cutlery and plastic glasses, no napkins, and the dining area was rather tatty also. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody and will certainly never return.
Price, location, everything worked
A bit sparce, room had the look of a youth hostal
Hotel room was nice and big
Very dated rooms and should have free wifi. There was no kettle in my room
My partner and I went to see John Bishop in Motorpoint Arena, so just a walk across the road. We got there early on Thursday, there was no problem, we paid £10.00 to check in early, left our car in car park which is right next to the hotel and did some Christmas shopping without any worries. We did the same on Friday after we checked out, went shopping then came back and collected the car. Staff were very helpful and nothing too much trouble. Didnt make it to breakfast so cannot comment on this. Will definitely stay here again.
The beds were adequately comfortable. The twin room I had was of a good size. Fantastic location, directly opposite the Motorpoint Arena & St David's 2 shopping complex.
The staff were incredible rude to me on arrival. I enquired about the parking situation (which was awful; the hotel SHARES their carpark with other businesses which is not stated in the fine print, hence they only have about 15 spaces) only to be told, & I quote "you'll have to go somewhere else or you'll be clamped". The hotel is in terrible state decoration wise. There were 2 holes in the bath tub, which had been crudely filled with poly filler. The breakfast was a cold continental with gone off milk. I couldn't wait to leave.
Room and the corridors were grubby, the room floor needed a serious vacuum and the breakfast was basic with no hot food
We had a family room although there was only two of us but, room was quite cold on arrival so, had to leave 1 of the 2 cards we were given in the electric to keep radiator ON while we were out shopping. Room was quite large and the 1 rad wasn't sufficient to heat the room comfortably otherwise all ok!
If WiFi is required, its at a cost. Only available free(I think) on lower floors 1and2? No cooked breakfast was available, only cereals, coffee, tea,Juices,Toast (1 toaster was very slow), Apples,Bananas etc. But was all fresh! Breakfast quite busy 8.45-9.10am but room is quite large with many tables.
Very good value. Clean comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff.
Attentive staff, very accomadating. My room was in fifth floor and I have aversion to lifts so it was really great when the young lady found us a room on a lower floor. We've used this hotel before ,last year, and the service is just as good
Seating area could do with a facelift. Seating was tired and not too comfy
The position of the hotel is excellent as it is across the road from the motorpoint arena. Also we had a great view from our 10th floor room.
The air conditioning was permenently on in the bathroom and bedroom. You could not adjust it and the vents were positioned directly above the shower (so you froze in the shower) and directly above the bed (so you froze in bed ) !!! You should be able to control it yourself.
Air con noise that kept us awake all night, radiator didn't work and replacement had sparks coming from it! Toaster didn't work in the morning.
Location Good room sizes Very clean bedding Value for money
Central heating not working so room was cold.We did have an electric heater which we kept on. Plastic tables and chairs in the breakfast room.
The location is brilliant, and the rooms clean and bright. I thought that the value for money was excellent.
The curtains are made out of a very peculiar, blankety material (but that's no big deal). Having to buzz in rather than having a normal door to enter the hotel was a bit odd.
Reception staff could be a bit more pleasant!
Location was good car parking charges very reasonable
Bed was a bit soft
Room cold heater insufficient no hairdryer
Location is opposite motorpoint arena which was the reason for our stay and ideal for shopping and close to Railway Station.
The entrance is a back door unless you enter though the carpark. The rooms are drab with like dog blankets at the dirty windows which you cannot see out of. The bed was a low block with a mattress that rolls you into the middle of the bed. The picture on the wall is of a freaky man and one plastic chair to be used between two. The breakfast, well what a breakfast that was, cold hard boiled eggs, cheese and stale bread or if you could wait for the 4 bar toaster that only half worked you could have toast. Croissants, yoghurts or black speckled bananas / apples. The water served from the urn for the tea making tasted as if it needed de-scaling, overall not worth bothering with and i certainly wont be returning ever again.
