Great that we could get into the room at 12 since we had a wedding to go to and it really helped being able to change somewhere convenient. Liked the guy who runs it and he cooked us a great breakfast. A bit hard to find as there is no mention of Abode outside.

The hotel is fantastic. Can't say a bad word about the place. Had afternoon tea waiting for us in the fridge. Room was really nice and the breakfast was delicious.

Pretty well everything We felt that more warning of parking difficulties could have been made. Reference should also be made to the usefulness and low cost of "Park and Ride" facilities where the desire is to park the car for more than one day.

Really liked the very cosy comfortable rooms. Loved the bath & beautiful comfortable bed. Loved the fact that we could come and go with our own pin code without disturbance. Loved how close it was to the middle of town and all the restaurants - which were of a high standard. Very warm & comfortable. Gorgeous room & bathroom. Self service in the kitchen was great! Upon arrival we had scones with jam which were delicious and a lovely touch. Beautiful historical town, lots to see and do. Very close to the theatre - perfect location for theatregoers. Delicious breakfast with very welcoming host. Great options available for breakfast, which we could have in our room or in the dining area. Would definitely return again. Parking was an issue - expensive and far away. You cannot park near the theatre so this was misleading. Lack of clear instructions about parking - these would really help. Flights of stairs - was a bit tiresome to the upper circle.

Loved the rolltop bath!! Bed was sooo comfy and the lounge area was really inviting, just like a home from home, only more glamorous. Kitchen area was a little bit tired, pedal bin was broken, but that's just looking for things to mention!

This place is just incredible. The bed was MASSIVE, the wet room was like being in a spa, and to have full use of the lounge and kitchen made you feel like you had the whole place to yourself. Only two rooms as well which makes it feel very private. Lovely and quiet and excellent location. Best B&B I have ever stayed in for sure. Nothing.

The room and bathroom were both spacious and modern. Upon arrival we were greeted with an afternoon tea in the fridge and a lovely choice of menu for breakfast. We felt spoilt, the little extra touches to make our stay special were a lovely surprise and very much appreciated.

We loved that we had the whole house to ourselves. Not having to go through the rigmarole of checking in and out was definitely a plus for us. We had total privacy and the room was wonderfully comfortable with a luxuriously huge bed, and beautiful bathroom.

Pretty much a repeat of other comments - very high standards throughout. No expense spared on fixtures, fittings and accessories. Very comfortable bed, spotlessly clean. Breakfast delivered to the room. Minutes walk from shops & restaurants, right opposite Marlow Theater. Would definitely return. The temperature! The house thermostat is fixed at 13 degrees resulting in the very comfortable lounge (together with the kitchen) becoming unusable due to the cold. This unfortunately carries through to the room that has a radiator that's permanently cold. It's possible that I missed something but there is a notice above the 'stat asking you not to touch, so I don't see how the room temperature can be raised? Advisory note: there's no nearby parking so drop luggage off beforehand.

Excellent city centre location opposite the new theatre. Fantastic room with huge bed, feather duvet and pillows. Nice touch of afternoon mince pies and 'help yourself ' drinks in main kitchen fridge, plus tea-making facilities in room. We needed a hairdryer and iron and found both tucked away in the wardrobe. The shower was very powerful with two shower heads in a wet-room bathroom. Plus an enormous roll-top bath. In fact, the bathroom was almost the same size as the room! Great night's sleep and well-cooked breakfast the following morning. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Canterbury. This is not a negative, or the fault of the hotel, but we brought the wrong pin code to gain access to the hotel, so had trouble getting in, but once this was resolved it was a clever way to allow guests more freedom to come and go at any time. We found parking a bit tricky, but all of Canterbury is difficult to park in if you have an overnight stay, so not really the fault of the hotel!
