Very nice - but really too expensive compared to UK hotels. Inside the room (no 47) - things were not very good - hot water shower did not work - poor lighting - limited hangers - expensive room wifi - limited space

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, everyone had a smile on their face. We were staying because it was our 5th wedding anniversary and we had our reception there 5 years ago. It was a real pleasure to see that the hotel still had all the warmth and character that drew us to it in the first place. The staff very kindly upgraded our room and the chef and resturant staff made us feel very special with some little added touches to a truely excellent meal. All in all we had a wonderful stay made that little bit more me momerable by the thoughtfulness of your friendly staff. Thankyou. No real complaints, the drinks are a little pricey, however I believe they are consistant with other hotels and resturants in the area.

Very comfortable and beautiful grounds My phone in the room didn't work properly and I needed to book roomservice, so I rang direct from my mobile, the meal came with not salt/pepper/sauces and a spoon for desert!!! The food wasn't great I had a veggie option and their were bits in there that I could chew so it put me off a bit was supposed to be butternut but could taste it! My stick toffee pudding was dry and I had no spoon to eat it so just washed my fork and used that! The staff were very friendly and the rooms where very comfortable and I had a good late deal price!

Very little - other than the staff were as helpful as they could be under poor conditions. Did not get the room as confirmed (converted barn room) allocated a mansion room which was very tired and in need of complete re furbishment.. told that the barn conversions as per our confirmed booking did not contain Premier Rooms as per our confirmation! The restaurant was very overpriced and extreemly poor value for money. In general the hotel is in need of a complete re-furbishment. Rooms are very tired and musty. The only saving grace, from a very disappointing stay, was the staff who did their best under very poor circumstances..

Overall the Hotel,Room & breakfast were fine, just the corridors were a bit tired/dated. . The evening bar food was aweful, probably due to the number of functions being catered for in the hotel on the night, but no excuse for serving what was effectively a ketchup & excessively fiery chilli pasta, claimed to be Arrabiata

The location was just idyllic and peaceful and close enough to Stratford upon avon (£8 in a cab). The gardens were magnificent and the service and the food menu is fab!! The staff were very attentive and friendly. The rooms were outstanding in size and decor. We stayed in room no 5 which was beautiful. Comfy bed The leisure facilites are a big let down. Tiny sauna and steam room which wasnt working at all whilst we were there.

Good location, nice building, modern rooms, apple car parking, nice surroundings, reasonable rate given the facilities. No wi fi in rooms, short children pool time, no spa pool in swimming pool. Resturant too expensive and lack variety.

The facilities and rooms were good and the staff were friendly The speed of service was extremely slow and none of the staff seemed particularly aware of the facilities on offer - receptionist wasn't aware if there was a jacuzzi in the spa area, restaurant staff were not consistant in informing customers about availability of offer - some were offered different eggs with breakfast, some weren't

Meeting up with our family- for our granddaughter wedding.. When we arrived are room was not ready, then to find I had a lot of steps to walk to get to our room, once in the room , dark, very hot , , facilities for disabled very poor ! one ramp - which did not completely cover stairs, ! a gap to one side which I slipped into, didnt report as my granddaughter got hold of me before I did any damage !!!!! We changed our room into the Barn - annex only to discover only one mirror on the wall and a hand mirror, lighting poor, in the bedroom not one mirror on the wall to apply make- up, lighting very very poor, had to carry kettle away from the tray to find a plug , no proper wardrobe- just a hanging rail. Breakfast, under cooked potatoes, overcooked , sausages, cold tea, yuk,not worth £ 199-40.
