Billesley Manor Hotel  

We went away for the weekend with the dog, and we were looking for somewhere near to Bidford upon Avon. This seemed the obvious choice. Very pleased with all aspects of the hotel, including service and quality of food. P.S. the dog seemed happy too.

Food an absolute rip off

Have stayed here before and this time thought it was even better. The room was spacious, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere relaxed but luxury. The pool, sauna and steam room are welcome after a days walking. Facilities are excellent and the food great.

The bed was rather uncomfortable and the shower mixer very difficult to regulate.

Setting and Spa facilities.

I have previously completed another on line feedback identifying with the faults of the room, inconsistencies with my colleagues booking and then attempts to potentially overcharge on checking out. Photos of the poor standard of repair have been taken of the room and its appauling condition for a 4 star hotel. Let us hope this feedback generates an appropriate repose rather than simply a further questionaire?

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, everyone had a smile on their face. We were staying because it was our 5th wedding anniversary and we had our reception there 5 years ago. It was a real pleasure to see that the hotel still had all the warmth and character that drew us to it in the first place. The staff very kindly upgraded our room and the chef and resturant staff made us feel very special with some little added touches to a truely excellent meal. All in all we had a wonderful stay made that little bit more me momerable by the thoughtfulness of your friendly staff. Thankyou.

No real complaints, the drinks are a little pricey, however I believe they are consistant with other hotels and resturants in the area.

2 single beds joined together to make a double, not at all comfortable!

Swimming pool

The changing room area for the swimming pool is in need of redecorating.

Very little - other than the staff were as helpful as they could be under poor conditions.

Did not get the room as confirmed (converted barn room) allocated a mansion room which was very tired and in need of complete re furbishment.. told that the barn conversions as per our confirmed booking did not contain Premier Rooms as per our confirmation! The restaurant was very overpriced and extreemly poor value for money. In general the hotel is in need of a complete re-furbishment. Rooms are very tired and musty. The only saving grace, from a very disappointing stay, was the staff who did their best under very poor circumstances..

I loved this hotel, we stayed at your sister hotel 4 weeks ago and just as nice.I Like the atmosphere and the space in the hotel room was brilliant for our 2 children. We would recommend this hotel and will definitely be back again.

Too few bar staff, especially as the hotel were hosting a large wedding from which children were running hither and thither around the hotel. Service at Breakfast was patchy at best.

The facilities and rooms were good and the staff were friendly

The speed of service was extremely slow and none of the staff seemed particularly aware of the facilities on offer - receptionist wasn't aware if there was a jacuzzi in the spa area, restaurant staff were not consistant in informing customers about availability of offer - some were offered different eggs with breakfast, some weren't

Lovely house our room number 5 was superb lovely view huge room good bathroom and I had read some terrible reviews on trip adviser so I wont ever believe them again. Only fault was breakfast sevice was a bit slow , but overall great.
