Score from 30 reviews Very good
Very modern, beautifully decorated and finished. The room was huge and the price was unbelievably cheap. Absolutely would recommend.
It was a very comfortable and clean place. The staff were helpful too. It was very good for us because we had a car. If we didn't it would have been too far out of a town.
Nothing as it worked wellfor us
Love all the facilities and although no evening meal available there are details of where to get food and it's possible to eat this either in dining room or in own room which is lovely!
Wifi didnt work in my room at all :-(
Would happily recommend this to anyone travelling in the area...so much space in the room, all facilities in perfect working order and the decor at the level of a high-end boutique hotel.
Quite easy to find if one takes the correct exit from the motorway but a note to alert visitors of the best exit to use would be helpful.
Quality room, very spacious and comfortable. Rural setting.
The management and staff could not have done more to improve our stay and the food was first class. We would not hesitate to recommend Birches Guest Lodge to others and to use them again.
Meeting Mary the owner. A lovely lady. The room was quiet and spotless and a lovely breakfast served in a nice bright dining room. We were served by a sweet young lady and had a nice chat with her. The beds were really comfy. Thank you so much for the nice stay.
A small point but the whirlpool didn't seem to work. Sorry I forgot to mention this upon checkout.
STANDARD OF PROPERTY WAS EXCELLENT, AS WAS THE BREAKFAST.
that i didnt stay all week
Extremely comfortable and well appointed guest lodge whose location happened to be convenient for us for our stay.
This place was better than the Savoy hotel which we had stayed in the week before
Everything and friendly staff
There was a folder with local places to eat which was very helpful and the common area with a fridge and microwave was convenient.
Breakfast finished a bit early, a longer sleep in would have been nice.
Stay here every few months with work. Excellent and would recommend to anyone, decor is lovely, the rooms are of a very high standard. Breakfast is great & the staff are very attentive. Relaxing atmosphere. Good value for Money.
The place is beautifully decorated and is incredible value for money. The staff are so friendly and the beds are very comfortable. The area is quiet and picturesque.
Having to go home.
I really enjoyed my stay in the Birches Guest Lodge. It was spotlessly clean with great facilities and had great suggestions for evening meal options. I would recommend it highly.
Location and a pleasure to be visiting Look forward to our return viit
to close to motor way. need a proper fan! for hot weather, otherwise very good.
We liked this modern, well maintained house, its central location, comfortable bedroom with an excellent en-suite and a TV with many available channels. Our breakfast, served in a comfortable dining room, was sumptuous and other half stated sausages in it were best she had ever eaten . . . what more could one want?
Nothing really . . .
Care from start to finish
Nothing to list
very well organised £3 extra for best breakfast in Ulster
This is my second visit to this guest house and i think it is second to none, and we shall certainly be returning. The owners and staff can not do enough to make you feel at home in this beautiful house, it is sure a credit to the owners, Well done.
This place was wonderful. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. Attention to detail was amazing.
It was far from Belfast, which is where we were going for the day. That was my fault for not paying more attention to the map.
Everything food good management & staff very good
The peace & quit & the people
Everything about the place especially the breakfast
Just a bit too far away from everything for us...
