Easy access to roads around Haywards Heath Good internet access FOC Prompt service at reception Reasonably priced
Ground floor room next to car park (although not excessively noisy when we were there) Car park reasonable but got full quickly
I booked a single room, which was clean and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had a good night sleep, the bathroom was new and the shower was superb.
The fact that you could hear the noise coming from the road so I had to close the window but it was quite hot. The rooms would benefit from air conditioning.
Location (close to office)
Interrupted sleep at around 2-4am (by staff leaving I think) No gym or pool No temperature control in room Not asked to add my Rewards points
No privacy room with cars parking in front of window. Noisy doors which don't shut properly. Poor quality food Hot rooms with no fans and very noisy from the car park and road.
Clean and near where we needed to be. Good breakfast
Background noise from function but did stop before midnight.
comfortable, clean well equipped room and bathroom. We didn't eat so can't comment
The beds are the most comfortable thing in the world
A party down stairs when I was trying to get to sleep
Lovely breakfast with a vegetarian option. Excellent/ giant shower, good bathroom.
Amazing views from room 314
Long way to walk and lots of stairs to room
Newly decorated room on ground floor so no lifts to wait for. Bathroom spotless. Reception staff superb. Very friendly and professional at check in-out. good quality.Food Convenient parking within the hotel grounds. Very convenient for the hospital and the city centre.
Restaurant very slow. Had to go and find someone to take my order for eve meal. At breakfast they forgot to ask me for my hot order. The bedside cabinet had ring stains from a previous resident's cups. The mirror in the bedroom needed a polish as it had a smear right in the middle.
Staff were very helpful. Breakfast not bad ... But kept running out of things.
Room very small for the price. Bathroom large ..but who wants to sleep in the bath ! My son had room next door .. Larger room and larger bed for same price !
When staying at any hotel the first thing I look at is the bathroom. If, as was the case, it is sparklingly clean this puts me at ease.Had a good one night stay.
Nothing to complain about.
The hotel is out of town, but quiet and near to roads out to places of interest. Our friends were staying in Lindfield, just a short distance away. Staff were attentive without being intrusive.
Didn't take my Telegraph vouchers, but the garage next door did!
Rooms were clean
Beds and pillows hard . Our room was between the cleaners cupboard and someone's office and everyday all we heard was doors banging with people going in and out both areas .
Staff and food
Wireless Internet connection very poor
Staff were polite and very helpful. rooms were comfy and clean
we had picked a hotel in the middle of nowhere. If we wanted to go anywhere we had to get a taxi. Had to wait for service at the bar to long as no one was at the bar
Room and bathroom looked newly decorated
Location on Major roundabout and opposite General Hospital making getting in and out cRnpark difficult and too noisey
Location. Comfort. Food. Shower.
Only staying one night!
The breakfast menu could do with a change! By this I mean I was charged £29 odd for a small full English which had items missing and my wife had a slice of toast and 2 poached eggs! So the menu could be changed for those who don't want a full breakfast and only want a few items!
the refurbished bathroom very impressive
we were on the ground floor in very warm weather,as the windows only had side openings we could not leave them open for fresh air when we were sleeping . also the tops of the units where the tea making stuff had not been cleaned as there were sticky marks and there were cobwebs around the wall lights apart from that all ok .
Room, free wifi with a decent speed. Eat in bar really nice food.
Night porter very professional, pleasant and helpful. Breakfast very good.
Room was stiflingly hot. Bathroom suite a bit tired.
Room good. Lots of parking.
Thought the food was expensive for what you got. £15 for an ordinary curry is a lot. More staff at the bar would also help.
Room was OK with very comfortable bed. Fan provided but in heatwave conditions, the room was very warm. Staff were pleasant and efficient despite appearing to be short-handed.
We ate in the bar. Neither of the pasta dishes were very good and were slow to arrive. Breakfast cooking smells wafted into the room as we had to leave the windows open all night in the hot weather.
