Zimmereinrichtung und Restaurant, besonders toll wasr das Dinner.und die freundliche Bedienung, der sehr schön gestaltete Außenbereich Frühstück, knabbernde Mäuse über der Zimmerdecke, kein Fön im Bad, Wasserhähne verkalkt.kein deutsches TV. |

The rooms were very clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. Nice and quiet location with excellent food. A very relaxing break. We had a lovely stay and would certainly go back again. The people in the next room were quite noisy, sounded like they were building a canoe. We wre expecting to find one on the veranda in the morning. |

Great bedrooms, breakfast and wine. Didn't think we were going to get to eat at night, It took far to long to get our food - which was good, but overpriced for what it was! Apologies are nice, but not when your starving! oh, the bathrooms need updating to match the standard of the rest. |

The location was lovely, staff were friendly and very helpful, the buildings were quaint, the food was greaty, accomodation was outstanding and facilities in and out were all excellent and could not fault one thing during stay. |

Spacious bedroom with plenty of drawer space, ability to open windows and generally well lit (but see below). Friendly, helpful staff. Immediate response to problem with faulty light.Good food, well presented. All round good value. Conscious efforts to be environmentally resonsible. The bedroom lighting generally was unusually good for a hotel. However, for people of mature years and/or deteriorating eyesight the bedside reading lamps are quite inadequate. They need to be either more powerful or placed centrally and over the bed, preferably both. |

Very warm welcoming by the staff, series of newspapers and magazines available at the hotel pub, nice atmosphere, the rooms are of a good size and the bed was very confortable It was a bit warm during the night but that was a one-off "heat wave" week. The shower didn't seem to have much pressure so the water flow was low |

the welcome was nice the room was lovely and the area was great, there were nice pubs and shopping ideal for a weekend they could have had background music in the returants and at breakfast as it was to quiet |

good rural location; good evening meal and excellent breakfast; good wine stock; room comfortable and quiet; the forgotten desert courses were not charged when they eventually arrived sadly we have to report many cobwebs in the room, how could they screw up on this?; we got the feeling they wanted everything in the restaurant to be finished by 9.30pm (& this was a Saturday evening!), annoying to have breakfast places laid around you @ 9ish |

I was very surprised, I did not expect the rooms to be as spacious and comfortable as they were. A much better stay than any marriots hotel I have been to. The staff, all except one but you can't have everything, were very helpful and polite. Well done. To be honest everything was better than I expected so there was nothing I didn't like. |
