clean and spacious
wi fi didn't work the morning i was leaving
Some staff were friendly some disinterested.
Fluid stains on the lift doors don't make arrival from work very inviting. It would be so easy to keep clean.
Arrived early hours of the morning and the receptionist was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel easy to find with parking directly behind the hotel.
Having to eat breakfast in the reception area with people coming in checking out whilst you were eating. Breakfast was very poor with only one person to tend to all guests. The choice of breakfast was very poor. Had to cook your own eggs, which took forever to steam and were uncooked after making two attempts. There was no orange juice left and when I asked for some the young lady said that she would have to go upstairs to get it and said that I would have to have apple juice instead, which I do not particularly like. So for our ten pounds we had a self service cup of tea, a piece of toast with spread as there was no butter and a bowl of cereal. There were croissants, a pastry and tiny squares of cheese but no proper cheese or meats usually available at a continental breakfast. We were very disappointed. The lift doors were covered from top to bottom in smears and the lift was dirty inside. It really let the hotel down as the room was pleasingly clean.
Great location for cadbury world
No local pubs/restaurants within walking distance
The breakfast facilities were good for a place that doesn't have a restaurant/ bar or kitchen. Room was spacious and comfortable.
Space was a bit of an issue whilst having breakfast as it is eaten in the reception.
Staff great, room was clean and comfortable
Cost us more in taxi fees to get to the hotel than it cost for the room for the night!
Location is a big plus. Rooms are fair size as can be expected in a budget hotel. Nice and Quiet although on the main round about. Very good service by the staff.
Can improve the breakfast offering.
*good service *excellect & welcoming staff *comfotable bed *clean room *excellecnt service
*PEOPLE SMOKING WEED.
Ease of access and friendly reception staff. Very clean.
Car park at rear shared with late night food outlets. Did not inspire confidence in car being safe.
Itchy reaction to bedsheets on both if my stays.
The room was spacious and comfortable, had everything I needed for a 2 day business trip
I did ask reception to fix an annoying flickering light in my bathroom which wasn't fixed when I returned to my room in the evening
The location was perfect for me as it was just up the road from the cocksmoore leisure centre where i wanted to be and only a few miles from the city centre as well.plus there was a sainsbury's opposite if you needed quick shopping. It was also pretty quiert too. I would recomend this hotel.
nothing really to dislike
Nice clean room, located within a retail centre and minutes away from town
I phoned ahead to say I was going to be a late arrival. When I finally got there, it was a nice touch to be told they were expecting me. Also, a small thing, but it was so useful to have a shower caddy rather than having to rummage around for shampoo etc on the shower floor,
The room was too warm and I couldn't get the temperature control to work. In the end I just opened the window, which was fine.
staff, breakfast, room, bed, position
no phone, shampoo, shower gel or soap and two lights faulty; one flickered, the other had a broken bulb
Used the hotel as an overnighter between Manchester and london. It was very clean, comfortable and staff were friendly.
They could improve on the quality of breakfast. The scrambled eggs looked like rubber but you could soft boil your own. Overall i would recommend a stay.
It was really quick and easy to get to from the motorway. Had a large sainsburys across the road and a few take aways below it and a nice menu in the hotel itself. Decent size room for a family of 4 with young children. Very adequate.
The noise of the traffic was quite loud all night. Being right on a roundabout on a dual carriageway it was constant and loud. But being on the roundabout made it very easy to find and to get to!
Over priced for what you get. the hotel was grubby, food all over the floor in reception which doubles up as breakfast room. Cutlery sitting in water in the cutlery trays. I don't understand how it has got so many good reviews.
Breakfast could be improved
Nice room - very comfortable, down to earth pleasant staff
Subway, KFC smells car parking shared with other businesses
Convenient location for trip
