Customer service; Staff were very helpful Room size
I liked that it was value for money and that I did not get bothered by anyone. It was fairly close (walking idstance0 to the main street with shops nearby.
There is no option for breakfast, which was difficult as I had flown in from the USA. The next morning I needed to find a cafe to have breakfast, and found no where.
Not sure what to say
I think it is not my place to stay or say
Staff were friendly, bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent plenty of power even for an electric model.
The Wifi did not work, the hot tap was broken in the bathroom and I could not get the TV to work. Didn't realise the TV and wifi were not working until later and staff had shut up the reception so did not bother seeking a resolution.
Its location is close to my relatives - This is a return stay - previously stayed here in 1980. There are signs that the current owners are trying to repair and refurbish. It is within walking distance of Perry Hall park. It is on the main bus route and only a short ride to the Birmingham Jewelery Quarter and the Birmingham Town Centre The cost is fair and representative of the service and facility
There is no local competition. The premises is somewhat run down.
wanted to stay near friends home.therefore the location was fair to my needs.
Shabby, run down property. Torn pillows. Curtains do not block out the light or even cover the windows adequately. 1950's furniture. Bedding very worn. There was no soap in the room, though i was provided with a tablet once requested. No immediate eating places though the description suggested there was. This hotel is in a residential district. Altogether not satisfactory.
holes in towels. paper coming off the ceiling, no soap of any kind,no milk, very old fashioned, took money off my bank card without my permission
Nice room size, friendly staff- very welcoming and close to city centre... Perfect if you're just looking for a room to crash in i.e Night out with friends and you just need a room to get ready and sleep.
The interior is a bit dated but besides that everything was fine.
No hot water, could not open any windows the place need some fresh , no soap or shampoo, carpet in the bathroom that smelt, and no one at front desk to talk to,no restaurant or bar.
Old classic furniture likeddthe decor classic. Nice big varhroom
