Staff location room could not fault the hotel
Me and my partner stayed here for a weekend and we loved it. The room was nice, staff were lovely and the breakfast was awesome! We would definatley stay again!
Very comfortable...excellent cooked breakfast to order....wifi included...I'm the middle of the high street...ideal fro shops eateries etc
Actually theres nothing I didn't like but its not the Hilton.
Location, size of room and facilities of the room and pub. Pub was handy for everything Northallerton had to offer i.e. everything was within walking distance.
Only drawback is that it can be noisy on a Saturday night BUT this is what we expected being in the very centre of a market town. It didn't spoil our visit as the music finished by midnight.
Although there was a reservation issue they went out of ther way to find somewhere else and gave me the tariff difference so no complaints.
location on the high street was good, no problems with parking. Black sheep beer in the bar.
The shower in the room was disgusting. Every time the sink was emptied the waste came up into the shower tray, along with black dirty water from god knows where! The shower was not usable. I did inform the staff.
The wall painting in the dining room, a modern twist in a traditional setting.
Nice central location in Northalerton. Room good, breakfast fairly good
There appears to be a nightclub somewhere around the back of this pub, which meant allot of drunken noise etc into the early hours of Sunday morning, which is a shame.
lovely room with good beds.
Central position, warm bedrooms, especial for Autumn breaks, easy reach of shops rail station and bus stop close by
On arrival there was not any greeeting, the young lady didn't know of how to reach the car park at rear of pub. Our first breakfast was a bit hit and miss, when asked for boiled eggs were offered hard but did not appear to know of another type .
Friendly amenable staff, very nice room overlooking High St and quiet convenient parking to the rear.
Would have liked to have evening dinner there but they only do lunch and not even that on Monday
You should realise that unlike a hotel this is a working pub and consequently is very busy and on our particular visit they had a live singer on and as our room was directly over the bar was very noisy. Also the staff were not exactly the happiest of people to deal with
Location and staff friendly
My wife found it hard to get to sleep due to the noise on Saturday night which should be expected it being a pub.
Breakfast was good, room was a good size.
Being kept awake until 4.30am with the rowdy clubbers congregating directly outside of hotel. Noise was continuous. I would imagine it is like this every Friday and Saturday night.

Fairly basic, the whole place could do with updating
Very surprised at level of finish really nice people could not do enough for you....will definitley be back !!
Incredibly noisy area, awoken at 4ish with crates banging and bottles crashing into waste bins. and again at 6.30 trolleys running up and down road with deliveries.
A good base for our 4x4 tours of the Dales
A little noisey but then it is a town centre Pub
Right in centre of town. Room very spacious and comfy.
Was sitting eating breakfast while chef and waitress sitting outside window beside me smoking. Service wasn't great. No car park at back of hotel, just a yard, quite dark.
Free parking. Comfortable room nicely decorated. Good tea, coffee and biscuits in room. Free wifi. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again.
First impression of car park is not good. Suggest directions to car park as you need to figure out the one way system to get round the back of the pub. Not the end of the world though.
Comfortable room , friendly staff and good location for the purpose of my visit, great value for money
The fact that there was no shower in the bathroom
Clean and spacious friendly staff lovely breakfast. Looked out onto the high street and the market. Very central for shopping. Would stay again.
As we stayed over the weekend you could hear chat from people coming from a local nightclub, but am light sleeper.
The location was fine.
It was very noisy during Saturday night until about 3-30am due to the fact that there was a club @ the rear of the pub, resulted in lack of sleep. Bed uncomfortable, did not like the smell of disinfectant which was quite prominent whilst eating breakfast.
The bed was huge and comfy. The food was excellent. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Nice toiletries. A very enjoyable stay.
We had read about the noise so we took earplugs but the noise was not that bad.
Staff and rooms excellent location was expected to be noisey not for anyone looking for a peaceful stay
LOud music Friday Saturday nights over our bedroom
