Location Food Staff
The room was clean and comfortable but was small needed a makeover plus a TV that stood on its own stand rather than propped up on booklets.
The food in the pub downstairs is excellent
Quiet hotel in street off main square. Helpful staff, and a very nice breakfast with plenty of choice. Beautiful town in excellent location for Dales, York etc
Very helpful staff, an excellent vegetarian breakfast menu and fine beer.
Separate private bathroom rather than en-suite.
Great steak and wine deal
Not an ensuite room.

No lift(wife uses crutches).Shower was in the bathtub, wife could not step over side of the bath.Carpark not big enough.
Good size family room, staff very friendly and breakfast excellent. Location ideal for exploring North Yorkshire, free parking a bonus!!
The friendly helpful staff, clean functional room, good food, breakfast very good, best porridge of the trip.
The room was a little strange as it had a large frosted window you could not open, obviously this is a very old Inn and they have fitted bedrooms into available spaces, the room was clean and functional so no real complaints, still had a good night's sleep
Traditional hotel, exactly what we like. Sash window rattling and falling down, so not optimum comfort, but again we wouldn't want it any different. Omelette with mushrooms for breakfast highly recommended.
Chaos in the cycle shed
Very friendly family run hotel very old a step back in time.
Wirhout exception the saff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The food was very good, as were the facilities. The hotel is in a quiet street at the centre of Richmond, with free car parking. In all, extremely good value.
Right in centre of town. Comfortable room, quiet and well appointed. Excellent breakfast, Staff helpful and friendly.

Very friendly staff. Really excellent food. Location right in the town centre but with parking for guests cars.
Dogs being allowed in the rather small bar.
We booked an ensuite room when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised when we were shown to a flat.
There was noise from the pub next door until 3am in morning. Apparently it only happens on sat
