Black Horse Inn  

Very nice staff, comfortable and clean rooms. Food was very good espeicially the breakfast. Good atmosphere in the attached pub with friendly staff and patrons.

I stay at teh Black Horse every week on Mondays and Tuesdays as I work in Cambridge (100 miles from home).

It was easy to book, incredible value, friendly and helpful staff, the meal we had in the bar in the evening was brilliant, freshly cooked food and lovely lemon merangue pie!!! Bar staff particulary kind and professional. Our room was warm and comfy - good tv, great shower, complimentary soap but take your own shampoo etc - incredible value.

I have been coming here for years, it is so friendly. The food, beer and company are excellent. The staff go out of their way to help. Whenever in the area I always stay here. The Black Rock food is excellent, really enjoyed the springbok

Room not that clean. When I stayed there, There was no Wi-fi available (despite They advertise it). I told the staff about that, but no one bothered.

A bit noisy in the early hours.

We were at neighbouring village for a friends birthday. The Black Horse was perfect for our overnight stay needs. The rooms were really modern and clean and the staff were really friendly . We would recommend this accomodation.

The hotel was easy to find, in a very pleasant location. There was plenty of parking spaces, and the car could be seen from the room, as all the rooms are in the single story annex at the back of the hotel. We were shown to our room by the owner, who explained where to find everything. The room was nicely decorated , very clean and tidy. Breakfast was in the basket in the room !!! ( nice if you want breakfast in bed, or great to take with you, if like us you are travelling) We went into the hotel for an evening meal, which was very good. The bar was very busy. When we left I returned the key and paid the bill, the lady was very polite.

There was information in the room, but it would have been nice to have a plan of the hotel and a menu. As we went into the left hand side of the hotel and ordered from the menu on the bar, it was not until the following day, when we were leaving, that we discovered there was a second bar ( on the right ) where food was being served and there was a more varied menu available.
