Bed very comfortable with plenty of room
Stairs were steep. Bathroom and toilet was separate. Hangers did not stray in place
Really cool old building. My 3 year old son loved it and thought it was a castle. Great welcome and lovely rooms.

great hosts, lovely building, very quite
We stayed in the Shepherds Hut. It was so cosy, we especially loved it in there when it started to rain. Staff were friendly, breakfast lovely, and the setting was just beautiful. A perfect location for exploring Somerset.
Maybe could have done with some blackout curtains. We were woken up very early with the sun blaring through the windows. There was also no shower in the room, only a bath. It was a challenge to wash my hair!
The shepherds hut was amazing with its own beautiful garden to enjoy the sun. Setting is beautiful and a traditional breakfast served by friendly staff. Well worth a visit
Quiet location Excellent breakfast Very good value Lovely old farmhouse
I booked late so the only room was a "gypsy" caravan so quite cramped but very cheap
I stayed in the converted hut on wheels in the garden which is a delightful retreat. It is quirky and fun and the bed is very comfortable. I like to have my own 'front door' so this was great for me.
In warm weather there are a lot of midges filling the bath and on the ceiling if windows are left open. Not a major issue for a short stay.
The whole experience of staying here is excellent. The rooms are spacious and equipped with everything you could want. Breakfast is simply delicious.
I love staying at Blackmore farm.
Fantastic house. Lovely place to stay.
Friendly comfortable accommodation in beautiful spot.
Very welcoming staff. Nice surroundings. Place with character and history.
Could do with bigger television but thats a minor problem.
Beautiful rooms, and attention to detail. I stayed in two different rooms and they were both lovely. I enjoyed the quietness and sound of cattle lowing!
Too hot, and it didn't seem possible to turn the heating off in the night. So, I had some disturbed sleep. I would have liked a feather duvet and pillows- but, I COULD Have asked!
Everything was marvellous. I received a warm welcome and had a beautiful suite. The breakfast was delicious and could not have been bettered in any way.
There was nothing to find fault with at all. One tiny sign to indicate which door to go to on arrival would be my only suggestion.
High quality period residence.Warm very comfortable.Service excellent .Could not fault it.Would definitely use it again.
Weather had made the roads subject to flooding so care needed in vicinity.
