In Trearddur Bay, on the stunning coast of the Isle of Anglesey, the Seacroft is a pub restaurant with rooms, offering free Wi-Fi, superb locally sourced food and a cosy traditional bar.

First and foremost it was the location- rugged, but beautiful. The B&B facility is very good- they've thought of almost everything. Excellent tea/coffee facilities in our bedroom. The decor in the room was fresh and clean. Very good breakfast. Very friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again.
Hardly anything that we didn't like. If I really wanted to nit pick, I would say that the shower door in our bathroom needs to open the other way- made getting out of the shower a little awkward- however that's just me-it may not bother other people.
A very pleasant short stay with the bonus of decent weather for cycling. Friendly staff and well set out and furnished room. Great breakfast and facilities for the price.
Everthing. We could not fault anything.
Staff very friendly, breakfast very well cooked and plenty of choice - great ingredients.
The bedroom was very small. There was no lounge and no where to sit outside though there was plenty of space. A bit of imginative landscaping and gardening wouln't come amiss. Seems to be unsure what kind of a place it is.
The accommodation was great and staff and owner couldn't have made us feel more welcome or at home. It is a truly beautiful spot overlooking the ocean. We would liked to have been able to stay longer than 3 days to explore the many walking paths that Anglesey has to offer.
The friendliness and genuine care of the staff. Also lovely brown toast available at breakfast which is often a real luxury in B & Bs.
The new fire door made the use of the bathroom difficult in the middle of the night without disturbing other guests.
location, room size, service
Although food was excellent (evening and breakfast), the fridge in the restaurant was too noisy.
Fish and chips. Friendly staff. Easy access to Holyhead ferry
The staff were friendly and welcoming, the food well cooked and delicious and the accommodation comfortable. Little extra details had been thought of such as delicious biscuits, still and sparkling water and hot chocolate on tea tray in room. Jugs of fresh milk available from fridge in dining room and fridge could be used for guests own items. Our room had a sofa and a dvd player. The farm is in a lovely setting. Some of us enjoyed a pre breakfast run. We really enjoyed our stay.
Great location right by South Stack. Friendly staff. Nice room. Free wifi was a nice bonus, so too the folder in each room with FAQs, information and takeaway menus.
The only negative from our stay was that we booked breakfast the night before for 9am but we had to wait until half past. In every other department Blackthorn excelled and we would definitely return.
Evening meals now available. Wonderful breakfasts. Nothing too much trouble. Being able to help yourself to more milk from downstairs fridge for room tea coffee.
Only slight problem was single beds mattresses were a bit uncomfortable, you could feel the springs. A mattress topper like on double bed would have solved this.
Immaculate rooms & very friendly staff.
kindness and welcome of kate, and efficentcy of he other members of staff
The room was great with brilliant views of coast. Food in restaurant great and very reasonable too. Beds so comfortable and generous coffee/tea making facilities. Kate on reception was very helpful.
Excellent place, stayed there numerous times in the past 10 years and this time a little more special as I ask my girlfriend to marry me and I couldn't have asked for a better location!!!
Location Breakfast with a lot of variation
The walls are top thin Rather poor neighbourhood
Staff and welcome Very Nice Breakfast was fair Views from our converted loft room were beautiful Location close to Trearddur Bay
Way over priced in our opinion. Stayed at Trearddur Bay Hotel first night and though 1 star less rated the rooms, space and amenities far in excess of what Blackthorn Farm has to offer, at a cheaper price, and included a far superior breakfast offer.
The staff were helpful and friendly and went out of their way to cook for us although we arrived late due to traffic delays. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our dog was very welcome and we had a garden level room with our own external door which made life very easy. My son was also very happy with his immediate log-in to wifi. Everything was top notch and I would highly recommend it.
I wouldn't change anything.
It was amazingly clean, although it does allow pets. No evidence of animals in our room and bed was very comfy. All staff we met were friendly and helpful.
We paid £82 per night b&b. the room had a shared bathroom and was quite small. Although very clean and comfortable it was expensive for what it was as you could hear people talking in reception in the morning as it was directly below the room. The downstairs toilet flushing also sounded very loud in our room.
tea making facilities, excellent with the best selection of teas, coffees, biscuits ever. Great breakfast. Lovely views. A great start to our holiday.
Our room was en suite but two other rooms ( next door and another /close by) used a separate bathroom. Each time they used the bathroom their bedroom door banged and then the bathroom door banged, so for each time when someone left the room we were disturbed by a door being banged 4 times.
less than 10 mins from Ferry located out in countryside, overlooking the sea, close to stacks head lighthouse lovely breakfast,
fan in the en-suite next door stayed humming all night.
The welcome, the individual treatment in bedroom decor, the quiet
Ideal for taking the Ferry from Holyhead
We have recommended Blackthorn Farm already to family who are just making a booking. Richard and Zhou staff were very accommodating to our late arrival with a baby which, as new parents, we sincerely appreciated. The room was bijoux but so very comfortable and started our holiday in Barbados style. Beautiful location. We stayed on the way to get the Ferry from Holyhead but we will return for a holiday.
