Award-winning Blackthorn Farm is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, 10 minutes’ walk from Porth Dafarch Beach in Holyhead. It offers a self-catering cottage and comfortable rooms, most with fantastic sea and countryside views. Cosy rooms include tea and coffee making facilities and a flat-screen TV with DVD player. The charming cottage has 2 bedrooms and includes an open-plan kitchen and lounge, dining area and a private garden. Free Wi-Fi and free parking are provided. Blackthorn Farm serves cooked breakfasts using local produce and continental breakfasts can be provided for early check-outs. Packed lunches are available, as is a dinner menu on Fridays. There is also an on-site farm shops selling groceries and snacks. Set in 18-acre headlands, Blackthorn Farm offers bicycle rental and has a great location for walking, fishing, bird watching and sailing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Richard was really friendly and ensured that our experience was the best possible. The room was comfortable and had a great view, and my friends really enjoyed trekking about the coastline. Would recommend highly.

The welcome was first class, very friendly, very informative about locality and where to get something nice to eat in the evening. Facility to order a take away with all crockery and cutlery provided so you can have your meal at the accomodation.The breakfast next morning was first class as were the girls on duty on the morning we stayed. Would definetly stay again. The bed was a little too short if you were more than 6' tall.

The location suited our needs, we knew the area well, the room we stayed in had all the facilities we required including good parking and easy access, the room was spacious, the decor was clean and modern and the staff were very helpful Everything was satisfactory, we would stay there again as long as the price was right

I thought Blackthorn Farm was just amazing - the welcome was second to none - the staff just could not do enough to make our stay a really happy and comfortable one- the facilities were wonderful and cousine wonderful . My dog was welcome and could go everywhere with me even the dining room but as he had travelled a long way he was fast asleep in our room. I just cannot say enough to praise Bkacjthirn Farm and I will definitely go back for a longer stay. The small stairs to our room but we managed - it would not put me off going back in any way.

Everything was beyond what B&Bs usually have to offer - for example you have an impressive DVD collection at your disposal and several, thick guides of the area. You can see that running this B&B is a passion for the owner who is really ready to take extra steps to make you feel comfortable. Also, price-wise it was very reasonable.

This is simply a fantastic hotel which I shall be returning to with my family. Room excellent food fresh, delicious and pentyful. Saff friendly and extremely welcoming. As a business the super fast broadband really was a bonus. I can not recommend this hotel high enough.

Urokliwie położone miejsce noclegowe, odpowiednie zarówno do oferty B&B jak i do namiotów, czy przyczep kempingowych. Spokojna okolica, w sam raz na odpoczynek od zgiełku miasta, na dziewiczym łonie przyrody, ale nadal z miastowymi udogodnieniami, tv, mała wypożyczalnia filmów, wi-fi, sklepik, świeża prasa itp. W opcji B&B dostęp do lodówki, oraz zastawy stołowej. Znakomicie opracowany przewodnik po okolicy. Jedynie późna godzina meldowania się 15-30.
