Blades Hotel - B&B

The location couldn't be better- close to sights, busses, and the underground. The breakfast was good, staff was knowledgable and helpful, and although the room and bathroom were tiny, they were comfortable and clean. We would stay again on a future trip.

fFor the money i expected a decent breakfast not just tea and toast etc. stayed on ground floor and was kept awake by constant door slamming. Both room and toilet were far too small to be considered comfortable. Nowhere in bathroom to put stuff. Decorated to a very poor standard

Staff is very helpful, location is excellent

Room is minimally furnished. No desk, no place to sit but bed, no luggage stand. Place to hang clothes was just a pole with hangers in the corner.

I found the room to be extreamly clean & comfortable, Kevin was a mine of information making ur stay even more memorable.

The only thing i didn't like and it was not an actual fault with the hotel but we were on the 5th floor & there wasn't a lift..101 steps from the basement breakfast room to our room!!

The hotel staff was helpfull, rooms are very clean, the location is excelent. A nice frendly hotel.

Rooms need a little refurbishemnt.

There was no phone in the room and the noise from the other room can be heard in our room.

Position is good, hotel looks good outside.we had the last available room on the top floor but it was the same price as other rooms. Others may have been better but we don't know. Breakfast may have been ok but we didn't have it.

Our room quality was poor for the price paid, curtains so old lining was torn, towels also had a hole and was worn thin. Bedding acceptable, fixtures and fittings in the room poor, shower pathetic pressure and sink and toilet equipment basic quality, it needs a refurbishment.

Hotel was in very good position for tube station, shopping, and restaurants. Great position for the Apollo Theatre.

Staff was excellent. Helpful, informative and humorous.

The room was very clean but quite basic and small. The staff were very friendly and helpful, giving me a map and showing a route to the theatre we were visiting. The location, close to Victoria station was great for a visit to the Apollo Victoria theatre, in easy walking distance. Breakfast was good - a nice change from the usual B&B fatfest of fried sausages etc. There was a good variety of cereals, fruit and yoghurt and a chance to help yourself to toast and jams of many sorts, marmalades, cold meats, cheeses and delicious buttered crumpets. Parking on the street outside the hotel is free from 6 in the evening until 8:30 in the morning. Outside this time, a maximum of 4 hours can be purchased by phone for £3 per hour.
