Well placed in central London, the Blades Hotel - B&B is under a mile from Westminster and a 3 minute walk from Pimlico Tube Station. There is free Wi-Fi and a buffet breakfast. This friendly family-run hotel is only half a mile from Victoria Train Station and the Gatwick Express. Buckingham Palace is just over a mile away, while the West End is just 5 minutes away on the Tube (subway) from Pimlico Station. All rooms at the Blades are brightly decorated, in keeping with the style of the elegant Victorian building. There is a TV and tea/coffee facilities in each room, and ironing facilities upon request. Very friendly staff,made us very welcome.Good breakfast served promptly. Good location near to tube station,handy for all sightseeing and excursions. Quiet at night and vey comfortable beds so slept well. Good value for money and were able to book tickets for bigbus tour via the hotel which saved us time,more time for shopping in Harrods sales!! Altogether a most enjoyable stay.

Apart from the location we found the b&b far too expensive for what it offered. The furniture was shabby (the chair was broken) sheets were not changed, initially we had no kettle (we asked for one) with literally two tea bags and two packets of sugar. Breakfast was also lacked choice. Although the staff was kind they were extremely hard to trace when in need of something.

The position is good Wifi Free but in our room impossible to take the signal. Bathroom too small Room too small and it was nevessary to remain the window open, also during the night. The hot water finish after a copule of quick shower....

The lady was very nice The room was in very bad condition. Wobbly lamps, broken wicker chair seat and damaged wicker headboard, dirty sheets, tiny shower room and overall stay within room Very basic level of comfort in room. Waterproof mattress protector on bed, which makes you sweat. Very small room. I could not recommend this hotel, although the lady was very apologetic the next morning

London ist teuer, das Hotel ist es auch. Aber für Londoner Verhältnisse war es echt in Ordnung. Geerne wieder. Zimmer war sauber. Und es gab sogar ein eigenes Badezimmer auf dem Zimmer. Ich würde wieder hingehen.

Es cómodo, limpio y el desayuno muy completo. Que no hay recepción. Sabíamos que el check-in se podía hacer hasta las 22:30h, pero nuestro vuelo llegaba tarde y hasta las 00:00h no llegamos al hotel. Nuestra reserva la hicimos en septiembre para el puente de diciembre y a avisamos de la hora. Cuando llegamos la puerta del hotel estababa cerrada. Tuvimos k llamar a un teléfono k nos aparecía en la reserva, y la dueña, dormida, me dijo que me había dejado la llave de la habitación en una vasija k había bajando unas escaleras. ¿No podía habernos avisado con antelación? Creo k tendría k haber una recepción o algún responsable in situ por si pasa algo por la noche. Además de eso, cuando ya estábamos durmiendo, a las 2:00h entró otra huésped a nuestra habitación, tenía la misma habitación k nosotros!!!! Tuvimos k volver a telefonear a la dueña para k aclarase el over-booking k había líado.

La disponibilità della signora della receptions che ha una buona proprietà della lingua italiana e che ci ha aiutato in quei piccoli momenti di difficoltà per la comprensione con gli altri collaboratori dell'albergo..........la posizione è ottima per visitare la città così come la qualità e prezzo.........discreta la pulizia! La camera è veramente piccola così come il bagno, bisogna avere un buon spirito di adattamento ,in fondo per la maggior parte del tempo si è fuori per visitare la città.

El hotel muy agradable, y la chica que nos atendió (margy) muy atenta, habla bien el español, así que es de mucha ayuda para los que no dominan al 100% el ingles. En cuanto a la habitación nos quedamos en una para 4 personas (1cama matrimonial y 2 individuales) era acojedora y el baño muy limpio, en cuanto al desayuno basicamente completo. Recomiendo el Hotel!

De lokatie, makkelijk en snel bij metrostation. Er was een familiekamer. Goed en ruim voldoende ontbijt(buffet). Niet alle bedden waren even goed, badkamer en toilet voor familiekamer op de gang was wel wat onhandig,

Die gute Lage, Victoria Station ist sehr nah. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett. WiFi ist gratis. WiFi hat immer wieder Unterbrechungen gehabt, ich musste selber Router 2-3 mal neustarten.

De locatie ten opzichte van het centrum In de familiekamer was één van de matrssen slechts 5 cm dik en van een hele slechte kwaliteit. De badkamer zat niet op de kamer maar op de gang en was welisaar uitsluitend voor onze kamer maar was niet afsluitbaar en was dus meerdere keren gebruikt door anderen in het hotel. Verder was er ook geen extra toilet in het gejhele gebouw voor algemene toegang. Verder was de hygiëne ver te zoeken in de badkamer. De wastafel in de kamer was met tape aan elkaar geplakt. Het ontbijt was weliswaar een onbijtbuffet maar zonder broodjes, zonder ei. Er waren uitsluitend boterhammen, melk, vruchtenyoghurt, cereals, kaas (2x), vlees (2x) en jam. En dan 180 pond per nacht (familiekamer) betalen is belachelijk
