Bladon House  

Set amongst 2 acres of landscaped gardens, Bladon House is situated in the heart of Somerset, less than 10 miles from Yeovil. Arrive to a lit fire and a pot of tea on cold days or homemade cordial and biscuits during warmer times.

Enjoy the exclusivity of the entire guest wing, which includes a private bathroom with a roll top bath. With its own private entrance and free Wi-Fi, the wing features a ground-floor sitting room with a wood burner, as well as a TV and a DVD player.

You are welcome to wander freely through Bladon House’s gardens and sample the variety of fruit, including apples, pears and Japanese wine berries. Or simply relax in the sun loungers and hammock and enjoy the water lily ponds.

A locally sourced seasonal breakfast is available, including award winning cracked black pepper sausages, duck eggs and buttery kippers. Fresh fruit, cereals and yoghurts are also available, as well as toast with homemade fruit preserves and honey. Breakfast is served until 08:00 on weekdays.

Just a mile along a picturesque country road, guests can enjoy a sample or two at the Somerset Cider Brandy Company. The opportunity for horse riding is just a 15-minute walk away and the Tudor Manor House, Barrington Court can be reached in less than 10 minutes by car.
