We loved the views and walking aroundabouts, it was a very short into the Brecon Beacons where we went to Garwant visitor centre and did a great kids walking trail. So clever how they fit a kitchen into the studio. Next time (we are already planning our return) we will get the cottage and stay longer

Charming rustic, fully self-contained little apartment in lovely rural setting. We loved all the stonework on the walls. Close to large Tesco for all food shopping needs.

Unfortunately, being in a ground floor unit you're able to hear the upstairs occupants quite easily, particularly moving across the floor as it sounded like floorboards and it was our great misfortune during our stay that the upstairs occupants when in NEVER stopped pacing their entire apartment in what sounded like boots and at times appeared to be jumping. This went on until the early hours of the morning and was virtually non-stop and unnerving and ruined our experience there. After paying our bill we left a day early as we couldn't stand it anymore. We don't blame the owners for these particular lunatics but perhaps some sound-proofing of the floor would help.

excellent position to explore the Brecons Beacons.

could do with more storage for clothes. The drain cover in the drive was high and caught the underneath of our car.

Upon arrival I was very soon greeted by the manager who was more than happy to tell me the history of the farm and surrounding area. The accomodation itself was superb, located in a wonderful setting with a truly amazing view. All mod cons including flat screen tv, wifi, power shower.

That I was only staying for one night. I could easily spend a week or more here.

    nice location; lovely view; comfortable

I needed an early night, and found the curtains didn't cut out enough light; and nor was there a blind over the skylight; but I appreciate most of your guests don't have a 187 mile bike ride the following day, need to go to bed at 8pm and get up again at 0430hrs!

We really liked the cosy cottage and how well equipped if was. The balcony was great and the views of Aberdare were lovely. We enjoyed our walk along the old railway line stopping off for a pint on the way back. We would definitely recommend this place! Amy & Karl, Cumbria.

    The stereo player wasn't working.

Fantastic place to stay. Richard and Sheila left the cottage unlocked and the keys on the table so we could let ourselves in anytime we liked on day of arrival, then they came round to see us and make sure everything was OK when they got back from work. Very friendly and helpful, lovely people. Cottage was perfect with stone walls, flagstone/wood floors and toasty warm underfloor heating throughout. Woodburner was a touch of added romance! Comfy beds with good quality bedding. Lovely little cottage garden with barbecue and seating area was totally private thanks to pretty screening plants and flowers. Beautiful views across the valley. Very quiet. All mod cons provided. Highly recommend this property.

Couple of sticking up nail heads in the upstairs floorboards and boards a bit creaky, but not really a problem (we left note for Richard and Sheila about the nails so may not be a problem in future).
