great location and view, excellent for walking. compact design, but had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Very friendly staff Would definitely recommend and stay again
the studio we had was a bit short on storage space for clothes - didn't bother us as we travel light!
Very comfortable little cottage, warm and cosy, friendly owners.
Lovely location, very friendly owner! We stayed at the Glass studio for one night, very cosy and warm inside, everything you needed was there. Perfect for travelling with a dog.
Warm, cosy, quirky cottage filled with everything you could possibly need...open fire, underfloor heating, SKY,soft furnishings, games, books, power shower, private terrace all set within a 'home farm' with horses, dogs, sheep, cats.......fantastic!
The feeling of the cottage was so relaxing and the staff were welcoming. The location was close to the waterfall walk as well which was amazing even the raining weather didn't ruin it.
1) Hospitality - Mr Richard 2) The Traditional House 3) The Nature Trail starts from the Farm 4) Near to Brecon Beacons National Park (Waterfalls) EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT
Everything was excellent from scenery to friendly owners and cozy cottage. Thank you!
Just the bed wasn't to my liking.
Our stay was excellent value for money. We enjoyed the log burning stove and local walks. Location wise very close to breacon beacons park which we visited. I would also recommend the big pit which isn't far either. Richard was very helpful. We will definitely be going back!
Cottage is really cosy, and comfortable. It was clean and well presented. It was designed in rustic country cottage style. There was everything we needed, including very good guide, and hundreds of leaflets about local attractions and places to visit. Also Richard and Sheila were very helpful. In cottage there was modern kitchen with everything you need, it was open plan to the dining area and living room with sky TV. Views from rooms, and cottage were amazing. It was set on the hill, away from neighbours which was another benefit. We didn't want to leave, definitely will go there again :) Thank you Richard and Sheila for making it very pleasant stay :) Dogs were friendly too :)
For some people poor reception and internet signal can be negative. We didn't mind :)
Really cosy cottage with everything we needed. Lovely views and a wood burner for the rainy days.
The bed was rather soft, not necessarily to my liking.
They scenery surrounding hotel and the cottage itself. Very homely and oh so comfortable. Definitely be going there again
Cannot think of any bad points about Blaen-nant-y-groes
Everything that we needed was available. Comfortable, clean and staff were very friendly and helpful.
Signs of dampness. Wouldn't wan't to stay much later in the year. Kitchen sink extremely smelly!
Thank you Richard and Sheila for making it a wonderful stay and thanks for the garlic ;-)
Beautiful place to stay. Very welcoming. Good price for the facilities.
No access to the internet over the three day stay, but not that important. Not having more time to explore the area!!
We loved this little cottage. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. The cottage overlooked wonderful countryside and we had a very pieceful nights sleep (until upstairs woke up). We would definitely stay there again
I'm not keen on dogs and they wonder outside...they were well behaved and did not enter the room.
Very friendly and helpful owners. Had been touring and needed a break . . . this hillside farm cottage was perfect for hiking and relaxation. There's a rail trail for level walking and hillsides for the view.
Everything. Wonderful views. Great walking from the cottages. Comfortable, convenient. We weren't on holiday but had we been there are lots of places of interest nearby.
Wi-fi had no connection.
Good value for money. Friendly owners. A good place for a basecamp to visit the surrounding areas. ie Brecon, Merthyr etc. Studio style ground floor cottage with all amenities and a vista of south Wales.
Very cozy cottage set high on the hill away from the neighbours, well equipped kitchen, good TV, super comfy beds, very nice staff, and sweet farm animals to visit with!
It is a 30min+ drive to the good walks in the Brecon Beacons, and WiFi/ cell reception wasn't good.
