Cosy cottage with a real fire, everything you would need. Great views.
The literature mentioned 2 good pubs but both had closed down!
The log burner was a real treat :-) good walks from the cottage with good local amenities and close to the brecons. Only stayed one night but will be going back for more :-).
The underfloor heating is amazing!!
Can't think of anything, we had a lovely stay!
Privacy, location, easy to find. This would be ideal for a few days away from it all with a loved one everything you expect to be provided was supplied. Lovely soft duvet although I found the bed very hard
Dirty cutlery, dusty crockery, dirty kettle full of old water, Unfortunately this is not suitable for a business stop over. Very poor internet signal, poor phone signal and no complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits provided in hotels and B&B's. I just wanted somewhere I could do some work and make a drink, although there is a shop close by I begrudged buying a large bottle of milk and jar of coffee so I could have a drink.
cottage was stunning! Heated floor. amazing views from cottage windows. Friendly owners
The only think I would say is the WI FI was down in places but if you come here- you are here to be away from a busy city!!!
The location of this quaint little cottage was amazing. Tucked away in a little town up a small farm road :-) Staff was friendly, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make a meal at home.
Only a few details- Instead of a double bed, it was two single's pushed together. For a couple spending the weekend, this was not comfortable at all- I ended up sleeping on a zipper throughout the night. The first morning, we were woken up by banging and walking and lots of loud noises coming from the people upstairs.
Kitchen are cramped but fine for a short stay.
Log burner, Sky TV, heated floor,
Slightly noises through the walls from other guests.
Studio apartment was furnished to a high standard (nice blend of modern fittings within a rustic building), very clean, good kitchenette facilities, great bathrooms/shower, visited in February and very cosy and warm with underfloor heating etc. Great view and nice outdoor area which would be nice in the summer. Good wifi and Sky Tv. Supermarket is a short drive away. Very good value and much more spacious/better quality than the photos show.
The heated floor
The charge for the log burner
good location, helpful owner
extremely draughty windows, bad heating, needs some upgrading (eg microwave, shower door fixing), bed not very comfortable, could be cleaner
We liked the farm as it was peaceful and views were lovely
The area was very much just like a small village with not much to do. Everything is closed on a Monday such as the cases and manors. It was very dusty and not extremely clean The bed was a double made up of 2 single beds zipped together which was uncomfortable and the pillows were flat. The idling was paper thin so didn't get to relax much from all of the noise from the builders that were occupying the studio above us. We did not meet both owners a d only met Richard who was very lovely and friendly but we were not greeted on arrival and instead I had to seek out the owner to let him know we had arrived and to ensure we were actually putting our bags in the right cottage. All in all I would say it was ok but not sure I would go again.
The cottage was like a home away from home. Lovely people who were very helpful with pointing out places of interest to visit. 3 lovely friendly doggies who love to greet you!
Comfy beds and sofas, nice view, very kind hosts. Peace and quiet.
Log fire Sky tv Shower
The peaceful location and the helpful proprietors. Also the fact that you could book it for one night. It was warm and cosy with the bonus of an open fire. We will come again for a longer stay.
Not much to dislike.
The location is really good for it is close to some important points. You can also enjoy beautiful views esp in the morning when there is mist. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and lovely. They share experience with you, guide you where you might go in the local area etc. Highly recommend!
The staff were more than willing to do anything to help. They were cosy warm cottages. The beds were really comfy.
My boyfriend had just come out of hospital so booked a 2 night stay for him to relax, it was perfect , log burner , beautiful Cottage with the ultimate relaxation to be had , would highly recommend and will be visiting again, owners very welcoming .
The Gwyn studio we stayed in was like a miniature cosy cottage. Even in the cold icy weather that we had while we were staying. The underfloor heating kept us very comfortable. All the fixtures & fittings were good quality and well thought out. Which made us feel very much at home
We should have stayed longer
friendly and helpful, great view ease of access..warm and comfortable..we would stay again if we were in that area
nothing wrong all good
Cottage Host View Ambience Facilities TV WIFI Shower
Only The bed was not comfortable. A more robust mattress required
Typical Welsh cottage, simply and thoroughly updated in a beautiful location. Very cosy and comfortable. Near Brecon National Park and Cardiff, not too far from Gower Coast. Friendly host.
A beautiful cottage in the center of the Brecon Beacons, well within striking distance of Cardiff
The décor, the way the apartment was laid out, the underfloor heating, the little lounge. Such a sweet, lovely place to stay. Beautiful views. Just an awesome place for a mini break. Would recommend to anyone to come and stay!!
The noise from upstairs was absolutely horrendous. Constant thudding and noise late into the night from upstairs through the paper thin ceiling which spoilt things a little. The people upstairs gave no consideration for us downstairs. Something really should be done to limit the stress the noise concerns.
