The weather was terrible very high winds and very very wet but that didn't stop us from doing some sight seeing the only thing that the guest house needs a lick of paint inside and outside that would make the building more attractive everything else was fine for us and destination from Bridge to guest house sat nav said second exit but it was the first we would go back again thanks for having us Mr.+ Mrs.whitehouse

The location was just for a stop over on our way to Falkirk.
The bed had seen better days as the springs had gone and were very uncomfortable and noisy with little movement. The floorboards also were very noisy from upstairs and when moving around the room.

Scenery was nice.
Scenery was nice. You definitely need a car as a lot of walking and also you are depending on transport, which is unreliable. No shops only the Coop. If you have no car you have to walk over two bridges and back to get food. A few restaurants.Didn’t realise how far the guest house from the station was. We walked it in bad weather and it took us nearly 40 mins. It was definitely an experience. It’s a day visit place or a base to drive to other places.

The shops do get overrun by tourists often so can be difficult to get basic needs when coachloads of people are trying to get trinkets and tatt. But the views from everywhere on this island are stunning, no matter where. Kyleakin is just the first of many on your journey round.

This is not a bnb, just a bunk house, very poor, no standards, room grubby very dated, all needs upgrading, would not recommend to anyone, breakfast was well cooked, but next door in a bikers cafe! No disrespect to bikers, we also have a bike. Staff at the cafe welcoming..but its just a hostel!
Located right after the Skye Bridge, we were very impressed with this accommodation where we stayed for 4 nights. It was warm, quiet and speckless. We had everything we needed to make a quick breakfast and coffee/tea for our mornings and good restaurants nearby for the evenings. Hosts are very nice and gave us plenty of tips to make the most out of our trip on Isle of Skye. Very good value for money as well! I’m very glad we booked it.
We arrived at White Heather Hotel and were blown away by the location. Right on the water with the most beautiful views, the owner was so friendly and offered us all kinds of recommendations on places to eat (even offering to book us a table as it can get very busy) and offering local tips on places to visit. The breakfast was exceptional and the bed was SO comfy! I would highly recommend this beautiful B&B to anyone visiting Skye!
Stylish home offers a very unique experience! The biggest highlight is absolutely the stunning view from the living room, having a delicious breakfast in this beautiful place really feels fully recharged and relaxed!
Laurie and her family were all very warm and welcoming! It's just like a sweet home! Will definitely come back in the future
Perfect location for those who want to visit Isle of Skye and Eilean Donan Castle
Great location right next to the bridge. The rooms were well equipped and clean and were perfect for our travel weary group. The snacks in the hallway and rooms were greatly appreciated. Also a great option for people looking for places to stay that have more than one single bed in the room. More like a hotel in that way, so great for groups of people. Would definitely stay here again.
The bathroom looked like it had new facilities whereas the bedroom could use some updating. It was hot in the room even though we opened the windows. The location is good if you are visiting the Isle of Skye. It is very pretty area. The breakfast was standard breakfast. Supper was a hit and miss. The smoked fish were good; the curry not good; the steak pie average.
The hosts were extremely warm and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. The living room and kitchen were well stocked and extremely comfortable and spacious with outstanding views of the isle of Skye. The bedroom was large and the funky bathroom with giant tub was a dream to relax in after a long day. We had a beautiful meal nearby at Saucy Mary’s.
This was a very expensive hotel. It seems to me the owners are cashing in on the fact they can charge any price for anything on Skye. I think for £168 they could have thrown in a coffee and a piece of toast for breakfast! Instead they charge an extortionate £14 for breakfast.
Janette was a very welcoming and helpful host. The location is great allowing easy access both to Skye itself and to the mainland. The house provides all the essentials for a comfortable stay including dishwasher and washing machine.
Just book here for Isle of Skye trip. I was booked somewhere else but changed to this near my trip dates. It turned out to be the best thing I did. The hosts are amazingly kind people. I will return back with family again.
Self contained cottage, spacious and very well presented. Open plan kitchen, nice bathroom and very comfortable double bed. Close to the bus stop to explore Skye further.
Lovely staff, with great breakfast options, and views from the breakfast table over the stunning water of the Kyle of Loch Alsh. Fantastic for such a cheap room.
Well situated beautiful views of waterways easy access to the isle of Skye. Breakfast was very good. Beds were comfortable and shower had good pressure.
