Walk distance to Hyde park, oxford street, Paddington station. Great money for value.
I booked this as a gift for a newly married couple, the staff were all to pleased to help me. They even upgraded my gift for the new couple. Faultless service. Thanks
Good breakfast, friendly staff, quiet and yet centrally located. Good service, good beds.
The bad in the junior suite 414 was horrendous small, no toilet brush, the toilet seat is smaller than the toilet bowl. So you sit on the porcelain. little mold on the silicone seals, calcified shower wall. For such a price, I expect more.
The television stand-by red light disturbed my sleep, as does all light seeping into the room (under the doorway)
Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was a nice size, very clean and had teas/coffee and toiletries. The bed was very comfortable although my boyfriend would have preferred a firmer matress. The rain shower was amazing didnt want to get out. Overall a good stay at a good rate.
Couldnt close the window it was very stiff
staff was friendly, cleaning the room was excellent the location is excellent
Wi-Fi is poor and the bed was not comfortable
Continental breakfast included cheese and ham, musli and fresh fruit - it was really excellent. Beds are good, shower is great. Connections are good: two tube stations near and also buses to Piccadilly circus. No traffic noise.
We had 4 devices and wifi worked only for 2 at the same time.
Great hotel staff very friendly we were there celebrating my daughters 18th birthday and were upgraded to a suite which was fabulous. The only downside was we thought we were nearer to Covent Garden and the shops. But overall great hotel very happy stay
Good modern clean hotel
Poor attitude of receptionists.
The Location is perfect. The rooms are well provided and the bathrooms are excellent. This is not my first stay in Blakemore. I make it a point to stay here once in London
Wifi is not always smooth
location is perfect, hotel is nice clean, friendly staff, breakfast is good ( cooked breakfast, cheese, fresh fruit, cereal etc..)
we stayed in a club room it was really small . there isn't a place that you could open your luggage, to empty it you have to put it on the bed ( to put a dirty thing on the place where you sleep is not very hygenic ...)
Efficient helpful receptionist. Room clean and comfortable with every ammenity. Dining room excellent. My friends meal was very good, I was not feeling well and the chef made me a lovely light meal. Public areas tastefully decorated and clean, every member efficient, pleasant and helpful.
The only down side was ordering us a hotel taxi instead of a black cab and not trlling us the price. More than twice the black cab rate.
good customer service
room temperature was not maintained, very hot, according to the staff air conditioning was not working. I paid £30 as deposit, I doubt whether I got it back or not. bf included while booing, when we were on dining hall they ased me to pay for hot bf,
Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent continental breakfast.
Room was overheated and air conditioning did not work. This was we presume a temporary problem. Because it is so popular the hotel was a bit crowded specially for breakfast.
Room was good in size, had a window and was clean. Good value for money for London.
The bed was too short (my feet hang out, and I am not that tall, just 1.80m) and there were too many blinking lights from the tv and smoke detector, making it hard to sleep.
Excellent location for Queensway and Bayswater tube and local buses, responsive staff, good restaurant at the hotel
Sometimes noise from other rooms but typical of most London hotels. Lack of choice for breakfast Credit card related rules of having to produce the one you booked with even when the payment has been taken weeks before
very friendly staff nice room but smaller than we were used to
everything were so excellent ..
The white nice-looking building, the elegant reception area, the substantial breakfast, the efficient air-conditioning in the room, the wide, comfortable beds.
Our bathroom was a bit small.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was excellent and we had an up grade which was a nice surprise.
Everything was just great can't fault any of the hotel.
they upgraded us to a huge room and the service was great
they deducted money in the wrong currency although they did fix this eventually. The room was a little dark as it was on the lower ground
Room was comfortable
Room over priced
Great location near hyde park and 10 minute walk to 3 tube stations and Paddington 20 minute walk. The hotel is clean and tidy and rooms small as per usual with London hotels. Rooms have very comfortable beds, ensuite most with bath and shower, we stayed 2 days and it was nice to see that they replaced the toiletries each day.
