The accommodation was excellent value for money. Restaurant prices were quite expensive. Restaurant staff/procedures were very disjointed E.G. 5 separate staff asked us if we wanted desert in the space of 5 minutes. A fine line between attentive and harassing. It was as if they wanted to get rid of us as quick as possible. Staff at breakfast were the complete opposite and trying to get attention was far more difficult and quite unusual to see the staff wearing the same evening style dresses. Strange for a Sunday morning.

Very comfortable,larger than usual rooms. Enjoyed good food in restaurant and at breakfast. Cabaret night was excellent, Lady Gaga put on a fun show. Very friendly staff. The view from the rooms and the drive to the car park from the main road are horrible It looks like a wasteland!

It was a very good stay all round. They are obviously very busy with functions and their sound proof doors are fab but even with that they still put us away from the fun that was going on during our stay. We will be going back later this year for another bike ride and will stay at Blanco's again.

The room was a very generous size, the king-size bed very comfortable and I enjoyed a quiet night's sleep. While the evening menu was limited, the meal I ordered was superb. Minor irritations - both bedside lights were broken; I found the tv controls very confusing

I thought it was a nice hotel in a convenient location for my business purposes and reasonably priced . I thought it was ridiculous to be told I couldnt take cheese and bicuits up to my room because of 'health and safety reasons'. Yet when I asked the receptionist where I go outside of the hotel to buy some, I was directed under a subway beneath the m4 where there were gangs of youths hanging around - so much for my health and safety, I could have been mugged or anything! I was also disappointed that there was nowhere to sit outside.

Breakfast was buffet style which had been out for quite some time. It was noisy and the room was far too hot so the windows had to be opened making the noise worse.

I am now a regular and loyal visitor. I choose to use Blancos for most of my trips to South Wales inspite of the fact that it may not be the most convenient. There is no better recommendation. Its clean- comfortable - welcomming . Excellent value and has plenty going on.

Blanco Hotel was conveniently located for our search for a home in South Wales. The room was a good size and very clean and they kept it that way. The breakfast was incredable, best I've had in a long time, keep it up. The staff were very friendly, approachable and kind. Even though it was next to busy roads, the hotel and our room was fairly quiet. The bed nearest the window is lumpy and not a pleasure to try to sleep in but we will return and ask for another room when we are in the area.

Friendly staff, good location for visiting sites in south Wales. Don't like the breakfast, bacon to thick and sausages to spicey, prefer plain pork sausages on a morning

We were attending a Christmas function and decided to stay the night rather than drive or get a cab home. We also wanted to go shopping in the nearby shopping centre in the morning so it was convenience all round. The hotel was very comfortable, warm and cosy, breakfast was excellent. No shower/bath mat in our room or grip handle at shower height. Bath was very slippery.

Extremely comfortable bed, important after a very long drive! Friendly and efficient staff. Good food, substantial breakfast for a good price. Easy drive to Swansea, missing out all the seemingly-permanent roadworks and diversions.

ambience was very nice once inside they messed up our reservation and didnt apologise. the breakfast was very poor quality. there was never any bar staff as everyting worked in the restaurant. very dire appearance on the outside.
