WiFi at times rather slow.
Nice small hotel, very polite reception. Good location Baker St station round the corner. Easy to get to Paddington and Piccadilly. Regents Park and Mme Tussaud's very close.
Very small rooms
Unfortunately in our room there was problems to get hot water in a shower time to time. Anyway we survived : )
Especially the peaceful location near to Baker steet Underground station was amazaing and also the room was, yeas it was tiny but rooms in London are always small ones.
Air conditioner only has the cold model
Creaking floorboards in the room above woke me at 5 a.m. Traffic noise as the window was only single-glazed
Good value central London hotel
Hood location and service minded Staff.
the wifi arrangement is not ideal as you have to programme each time
comfort , friendliness gave me same room two nights running even though I made separate bookings
The size of the room is very small and bathroom . Getting taxi form hotel location is not avilable because located in middle neighborhood. So you have to walk about 300 meters approximately. It is hard to have big laggages inside lift of hotel and the room .
Cleansess.... and value of money worth
Perfect for an over night stay in London, friendly with tidy clean rooms. Good position near Baker Street station and many attractions.
Geared for people who appreciate essential things in life: decent lights for reading, ironing facility, safe for valuables.
Friendly staff ideally situated for restaurants, underground etc and a very good breakfast available at reasonable price. Will stay there again
There was an unpleasant smell from the sink in the bathroom. Needs a little bleach.
Location, not a chain, very reasonable price spotless and very helpful and friendly staff.
Booking/payment card issues
Central base near tube
No hot water in the shower at 7:30 am.
Excellent location next to Baker Street and a block from the tube station. Clean room, quick check in and check out. Very quiet at night, as my room was facing a small inner courtyard and Chiltern Street sees next to no night-time traffic. I didn't try the breakfast, so can't say what it was like.
WiFi works only for five minutes from connection, staff couldn't do anything about it
Room 21 a bit noisy from traffic would benefit from double glazing
Could not be beaten
This is a comment not a dislike.the room is serviceable but small-or rather compact. We have traveled to England and London many times before so we are used to this.If someone is expecting a large North Amercan style room they will be disappointed
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was always well-stocked with coffee milk.etc. The location could not be better- you can walk everywhere and are surrounded by good pubs and restaurants ranging from fine dining to fast food.
Poor service: On checkout day with 5 suitcases front desk Front desk guy saw my daughter going up and down without offering assistance. When asked to call a cab he said he could not do so(?!). When she finished moving her bags down, at 9:02 she sked if she could still have breakfast ( as it closes 9:00) and the person said no she could not. What lack or courtesy is this after having graciously done nothing for a guest , and seen her toil with luggage? During Checking requested a storage room as advertised but it was nonexistent. Finally when she spoke with the night desk person to inquire some stuff he repeatedly told her why would she not marry him… During the next 2 nights my daughter avoided eye contact with this person as she clearly felt uncomfortable. This decided us to book her at another hotel and shorten her stay there.
The rooms were tiny. Uncomfy bed.
bathroom was v cramped bed was bit cardboardy/not v comfy wi-fi thing was v irritating and so I didnt use it curtain was broken and didnt fit window properly
location - right next to underground and my medical appointment hotel was warm, the one member of staff I encountered was friendly - it was just what I expected for less than £100 in central London - which is pretty amazing!
Friendly and helpfull staff
- no water to drnk in the room - poor breakfast - only 2 hours - very very bad internet connection
Location, helpful staff, clean.
Size of the room was shocking. was clean, but didn`t look that way.
