Great breakfast! Comfy bed and lovely room Did hear the neighbours in both sides of our room snoring and talking. Must be very thin walls. Real shame as no real privacy and it was such a lovely place to stay. Also slight smell of sewerage.

Price. Quiet. Breakfast was very small. I'm quite a big bloke and after working nights was looking forward to it but it wouldn't have fed my six year old niece ! Also cos of this I asked could I have the room for extra hour so I could have a bit of sleep for which they wanted 15 pound. Only paid 29 for the night ! Didn't really book the room with a view to review it. It was just a bed for me

The male receptionist tried hard. For what the hotel charges I considered that the room we had was very basic, with furniture past its sell-by date.Only one chair in a double room.Nowhere to put towels in the bathroom. The walls of the cab ins are too thin and noise was a factor. The shingle courtyard for parking was naturally noisy, but late arrivals did not make for a comfortable stay.I imagine all the other rooms will be the same, and I regret to say that I did not consider our stopover to be value for money.

All on one level and therefore, user friendly for older people. No hot water on the morning of my stay.

The quietness of the rural location Lack of attention of detail, my room had no chair to use the desk;main light not working;no toilet brush;no shampoo or shower gel (there was however three bottles conditioner and three soaps!) tv not working had to be re-tuned twice; bed was uncomfortable; room didn't live up to the web site marketing details!

Great food, and helpful staff. Good location. Nice countryside setting, but with easy access. There was a large group of golfers and they were quite noisy some nights. It appears they are a regular venue for golf trips.

Beautiful venue for weddings. The hotel is very poorly run. New managers very friendly and helpful but thanks to the double booking of rooms by the hotel system we had to stay at the sister hotel 'The Dog' 15minutes drive away - room 5 was terrible!!! I felt sorry for Amy and Luke and wish them luck with running this place!!!

On arrival I was told that the hotel was overbooked and that I had been transferred to an alternative hotel in the group, The Dog Inn 8 miles away. Solid clean hotel with good accommodation in the heart of the countryside, so quiet. We came back from Deal early (9.30pm) expecting to have a drink at the hotel bar but was told by a woman (who informed us she was only was waiting staff for the wedding being held there) that the bar was closed. We couldn't find any permanent hotel staff to inform or serve us.

We didn't actually get to stay at the hotel as we were called up at lunchtime on the night we were due to stay by Ivan, the manager to say that they were overbooked. We were disgusted by his poor attitude, he just didn't seem to care. I can honestly say i've never had customer service this for accomodation. After we told him it was their responsibility to organise an alternative he told us there was space in a hotel in Dover. We explained we didn't want to stay in Dover and he offered no further assistance. Lucky by calling around ourselves we got a room in the Royal Albion in Broadstsirs as they had a cancellation. The service there couldn't have been more different and the lady there completely turned the weekend around for us as we would have had to go back to London since we had nowhere to stay otherwise.
