Easy access to Oxford with public bus. Close to Blenheim Palace
The location is very close to a busy road leading into Oxford, quite a lot of traffic noises in the evening and morning.
Staff, room, cleanliness, location
Very modern and well appointed. Breakfast great. Henry was great to say hi to.
I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the bedroom and breakfast room. Tanya the host was very friendly and welcoming so I had a lovely stay - excellent location for the Blenheim Horse Trials.
Good location, breakfasts, comfortable bed and room (even though bit small). Shower was excellent
Road noise. Noticeable when windows open
Everything! Best part is the S3 bus to/fro Oxford!! So convenient - every 15 minutes or so at about £3 return!! Double glazing cuts out any intrusive noise. Fantastic breakfast. Only 15 minutes from Bicester Outlet Mall!!
Friendly welcome, clean and comfortable rooms, good breakfast... what more do you want from a B&B?
Very professional and friendly service. Ideal location for us.
The room was very nice. The breakfast was lovely and so were the people. The proximity to Woodstock and Blenheim palace is fantastic.
Clean & bright room & bathroom with a great shower, delicious cook-to-order breakfasts, convenient location perfect as a base while traveling around the Cotswolds, easy access to Oxford & Woodstock, wonderful hosts. (We are repeat customers)
Pretty much everything. Bedroom was comfortable, bathroom-wish I had one like it at home-food was excellent and well prepared, plus my gluten intolerance was easily ptovided for. Thanks for a lovely stay.
I like a ceiling fan, but a floor model was available. Also the power point was not by the desk, but near the door. ok for charging but harder to work. but did ruin our stay.
Our hosts were consistently cheerful and helpful. They gave the impression that nothing was too much bother. The room and ambience of the guest home was most welcoming. Breakfast was scrumptious and generous. We would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment to others. a superb location, central to many attractions and places of interest with convenient bus routes very close to hand.
Lovely warm welcome. Great selection of dvds. Immaculately clean. Eggs benedict breakfast superb. Wonderful shower
Near main road however makes no difference as slept at back and was wonderfully quiet.
The warm and friendly welcome with excellent service throughout. Frequent bus service close at hand.
As is often the case, the absence of 'real' bread for toast took the edge off an otherwise first class breakfast.
Everything. Perfect b&b, well run, spotlessly clean, very friendly but not obtrusive hosts, beautiful freshly cooked hot breakfast. Can't speak highly enough about this wonderful b&b. It has been decorated to a very high standard and the rooms are fresh, calming and very attractive. Every little attention to detail has been considered and provided. This place well deserves its high rating. It's also just a short drive to a Park and Ride site taking you into the heart of Oxford or you can simply walk to a local bus stop taking you into Oxford. Blenheim Palace is just a short drive away as well. And if you stay at the Blehheim Edge Guest House make sure you give a big cuddle to Henry the gorgeous rescue dog that the wonderful owners, Tanya and Simon saved from a sad fate, which was a lovely thing to do.
Great hosts, very clean and modern facilities, excellent breakfasts.
Nothing at all!!
The best part about Blenheim Edge is the charming owner. She is passionate about providing a comfortable stay for her guests. Our room was beautifully decorated with a rarity...places to store things! Nightstands with drawers...and a tall dresser with more drawers! That was such a nice change from most everywhere else we had stayed. We loved the view from the huge windows in our room...across the road to green fields beyond. Even though the room overlooked the busy highway, it was very quiet due to double or triple-glazed windows. The bath was modern and convenient. These owners travel and it shows in the care given to every detail. Breakfast was delicious with several options including vegetarian. We were traveling by rail, so for sight-seeing we made use of the nearby bus stop to visit Blenheim Palace and central Oxford. There is a good restaurant down the road a mile or so. Otherwise we recommend eating in Oxford for lunches and dinners unless you have a car. This location is perfect for auto tourists as there is plenty of free parking!
It was a bit scary for us to cross the busy road to and from one of the bus stops especially since our travel attire is mostly black! It got easier with every crossing!
My two friends & I were made very welcome - like visiting family/friends.
Friendly, clean , quiet
What a warm welcome we recieved. Delightful place. Lovely breakfast and good chatting with other guests always adds to a great experience.
Nothing. All good.
Lovely house that truly feels like a home; great location; great hosts. We would stay again!
beds were comfy, hosts and food were great!
Only complaint was it was hard to find by our driver, just a small sign on side of fence
Friendly owners, clean and comfortable room, excellent breakfast and a good position on outskirts of Oxford
Can't think of anything to report
The owners were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was fabulous.
