Brilliant location. Very friendly & very efficient staff. Lovely room. Very good reasonably priced restaurant. Very good value for money. Free easy parking.
The staff were really helpful and friendly. Location was just were wanted and was close to the city. Lots of good restaurants were close by. Bed was very comfortable.Nice to be able to have a cup of tea in our room when we wanted.
Room was a bit small and needed updating, ie no handle on shower door, one of the curtains was off it's hooks. Overall it was fine for a couple of night's stay.
Food was great staff were brilliant
Room was horrible paid for ensuite double got twin single beds which at being 6"2 wasn't very good and bathroom with shower was outside my room on landing next to someone else's room door ! Pants...
Proximity to Sefton Park. Large, comfortable room. Friendly staff.
Our room was situated over the bar and was very noisy at night.
The hotel is lovely with lovely staff, great location and all at a great price. What more do you want :) Myself and my daughter enjoyed our stay at the Sefton Park Hotel. Thanks Guys :)
Location friendly staff breakfast evening meal
lumpy mattress small room no remote for tv no towel rail or shelf by sink curtain hanging off repairs to various items such as bathroom door ,wardrobe not done no extractor in bathroom windows do not open more than a few inches and even then had to be wedged open
The area that the Sefton park hotel is in, and a lovely lake across the road! The staff are great too.
The mattresses need replacing as you can feel the springs in your back, also the curtains don't close correctly!!
Location, good staff
The guest rooms were very poor
Friendly staff Free car park on site Lots of restaurants/ bars within walking distance Lovely park over the road
Shower didn't work very well just a trickle of water coming out in the morning and temperature inconsistent
I've stayed here twice & been lucky with the room on both occasions, overlooking the boating lake in Sefton Park. Location was ideal for me, although quite a way from the city centre. Food in the restaurant was better this time than last. Staff always friendly & helpful.
Poor response to complaints broken shower head shaving point not working very small room for 2 people and dog. dirty sheets room only made up for 1 person? Food poor. breakfast sharing teapot which was stewed sharing sugar bowl
Internet in room was very slow, better near reception. No proper window in room.
Very friendly staff
The welcome, the chatty staff, parking, the location and the Beatles connection.
The creaky door and steam train shower ;)
The service and staff were wonderful. They were kind, helpful and responsive. The location wasn't a problem visiting The Beattes Experience because the bus service was frequent and easy to use. What a beautiful building!
Very hot sleeping without a fan or air conditioning (end of July). They had fans at the desk. Just not enough for each room as they were out when we asked. And so a bit noisy over the bar with the window open.
The staff were friendly and polite. The restaurant was very good
We thought it was overpriced at 145 per night plus another 7.95 each if we'd had breakfast. It was nowhere near the standard of other hotels we've stayed at for a similar price. To justify this price the rooms need refurbishing to a higher standard, including replacing the rock hard bed and providing more pillows.
Value for money
Being asked for a £25 deposit on arrival even though I had no intention of putting things on my room. Then being told that it may take 24 hours to go back onto my card! Not good if you don't have a lot of money in the bank! If people want to put things on their room then you could give them a card to show they have paid the deposit and if somebody doesn't have a card they can't put things on their room, therefore leaving people who don't want to pay the deposit an option!
Location and easy access
Could of had a fan as was very warm but everything else is great
great location for the wedding of close friends in the palm house. everything was spot on. staff were superb and so helpful. came back from the wedding and the night barstaff were excellent in letting us carry on the cellebrations at the hotel. it had everything we needed and was great value
nothing at all.
Beautiful location and historic building.
It was rather noisy. The nearby road, guests and the late night fire alarm.
Wifi worked well
beadhead creaked all night long bed was terrible lot of noise from 5am on
Beautiful setting in the park - nice to walk around the lake and watch people with their dogs. Although our room faced the road, so we get the traffic noise from the road.
There were not much bathroom toiletries and the mattress on our double bed was a tad worn out - the springs are gone. Also, we wished we had been informed that the hot breakfast ends at 9am and we had already paid for the breakfast (7.95 each) when we booked the room. And the hotel refused us the refund on the breakfast.
The staff on the reception were very helpful
Breakfast time was good the first morning the 2nd morning it eas like faulty towers the young boy did not have a clue. Very disappointing. One night in the rest the chef couldn't do food because they had a function on
Helpful staff and a good location. Good food and excellent beer garden
Beds were a little hard
